A joke of an AT tire but curious if anyone has real world experience with these in snow. Came with the used truck figure I'll run them a while but we go get snow here.

I'm curious too. As much as I hated them (they got me stuck with all wheels locked in wet grass AND one randomly blew out the sidewall), they were quiet and gave great fuel economy. That said, so many people love the Michelin Passenger/Road tires that I'd just go that route if I wanted a pure road tire.

Well I ran Goodyear Duratrac on my old truck which is a "work truck" tire and liked them enough to put on another set.

Just curious about performance of these tires. Might as well use them up is my thought.

Had them on previous vehicles, and as much as I wanted a reason to take them off, they did remarkably well in heavy rain and light/shallow snow.

I was pleasantly surprised by them in the snow. Felt well-planted. I think it is a good tire, especially on the PB to balance fuel economy. Obviously, they aren't very aggressive, but in the snow, they felt pretty damn good.

For perspective, on my old f150, I had duratracs, which were exceptional in the snow at first. After 25-30,000 miles, I felt their snow performance dropped. I would put the Dynapros between the brand-new duratracs and the worn down (not worn out) duracracs. The Audi S4 rocks Viking Contact 7s in the winter and that combination is a cheat code: a dedicated snow tire can't be beat in the snow, but I really don't think you will need to upgrade from the Dynapros due to snow traction.

I had them on a 22 Frontier Pro4X. They were ok. A little beefy.

I have no issues with mine. Got caught up in some logging roads on trip to the U.P. and had no issues with mud.

Good to know.
I'll leave them and see how winter goes. :)

I know when it snowed here in central Texas a few years ago I had no problems in the snow. Of course I took the opportunity to take it out and throw it into 2wd and play around with it then threw it in 4wd and had no problems getting around.

Had them on my '19 502A for two Minnesota winters and never had any issues with them. Of course, cities and state are pretty quick to clear the roads around here but I did drive some unplowed roads with 6-8 inches of snow in slippery/4WD mode and they handled it just fine.

My former ‘21 had the AT2 tires. I live in Michigan and experience the typical bad winter weather. I have to say that my expectations for this tire to perform well in winter conditions was very low. The reality was quite the opposite for me. The tires performed really well in the snow, slush and whatever else was thrown at them. YMMV.

When i got my truck new, i tried it in the first winter. As all other all season tires, braking is horrendous. Dont bother with these in the winter to be honest.

However they have held up pretty well. I have put about 40,000kms with almost 50% of that towing my 7000lb RV and it still has life (i am very anal about tire pressure, usually 36PSI no tow, 42PSI towing)..

Definitely will buy it again to replace these worn out ones.

I just picked up my F-150 and switched these with Dynapro Xtreme. I haven’t had a chance yet to test these in the Canadian winters but my truck felt bouncy with the Dynapro AT2s and now it is not as bouncy. I had At2 LT on my previous rig and I felt confident driving with those in winter. I only switched them because I wanted a beefier look and with the new wheel and tire setup I managed to reduce the weight at every corner by 8-9 pounds.

What did you do with the AT2's? are you getting rid of them?
