Only regret is not buying the Lariat. I opted for fuel savings instead. However I’ve since been given a gas card so fuel efficiency is no longer a problem. Was actually thinking of trading for the 5.0 and putting a blower on it..

I noticed mine would oscillate engine output during low rpm high load when running low Octane, which was further exacerbated during the summer temps. Almost like timing was being retarded. 91Octane solved this issue.

I had 100km left in my tank about 1/8 and I was parked uphill in my driveway and the truck wouldn’t start. Had to dump 20L into it to get it going. Wouldn’t even try to crank. Thought it was an electrical fault. Very disconcerting considering this is a truck and could be parked at an angle off-road.

I had the Sport and FX4. Both XLT, both same other than a few interior gadgets. I cannot tell the difference.
