I know that this question has been asked before, I have a price with the X plan from a local dealer in NJ. about 30 minutes away.
Plus a 2500.00 rebate.
Granger ford is 4% under invoice, around 3000.00 deference.
Granger is 1100 miles away.
Air fare, time, Hotel and other expense's..
Has Anyone made that trip?

^That^ being your only question, yes, of course, many of us from every corner of the lower 48 have made that trip to our great benefit including travel expenses. Many examples mentioned in the threads linked below.

I drove to and from Granger from NJ. To Iowa then Wisconsin and back in 4 days. When it's time to replace this truck I'll do it again too.

Your rebate likely applies regardless of where you buy it from. I couldn't find anybody even remotely close to Grangers price and easy system. I made the trip from west central PA. Flight and 1 hotel night, 1 tank of gas about $500 or so. I'll spend $500 to save $6500. All depends how valuable your time is. Good luck!

I bought my truck before I knew about Granger. Still think I did well, although not Granger well. After all this time on this forum and reading the reviews, plus seeing how Granger conducts business, I would prefer to do business with them even if the trip means I were to break even. That is the kind of company I prefer to do business with. Except for that Atlanta hellhole, it is a nice drive.

That is pretty much the same as me. About $800 to save $6000, including the flight, gas back and 3 nights of hotel stays as I am breaking the truck in properly and taking a mini vacation as well.

So many people have paid too much ordering a truck..On a 2024 RCSB XL I'm saving well over $5,000.00 on my truck and warranty even accounting for traval expenses.

I'm doing that trip right now. I flew into Des Moines this afternoon and am heading over in the morning to pick up my truck.

Process has been smooth. I found I still don't like to fly though.

Fellow NJ resident here. I also got a quote from Granger and found it was 4pct below invoice. I was able to negotiate a 5pct below invoice with a dealer in PA. I only paid $800 extra than the Granger price but that provided me an upgrade to FX4 package and a bed liner. I just purchased this past weekend. I did not feel the time needed for reservation plus the time to travel plus the cost and the 17 hour drive back would have been justified.

I'm in CA. I bought my truck from Granger over the phone and had a shipper pick it up and bring it to me. Back then the shipping cost me $1500, which was still a big savings over anything I could find locally.

I flew out to Iowa and got my 2022 at the end of 2022. Flight was less than $400, gas about $175 and two nights in a hotel was less than $200. All in all about an $800-$900 trip with food.

350 miles the first day (easy driving) about 550 miles the second day, and about 250 on the third day and home by lunch.

At the time of order (Jan 2022) MSRP was all the dealerships were giving me and nobody had trucks on the lot due to shortages. I ended up paying $59,800, waited 11 months (unusual) and with 2 price increases during that waiting time the new MSRP on the truck was $73,000. Granger has Fords price protection so you pay the quoted price regardless if Ford increases the price. My 2022 was the first year for the BAP and I knew it said "Late Availability" so that adding to my waiting period.

When I first left Granger with the truck I took my time and got on and off the highway so I could stop, vary speeds and run the trans through all the gears. Not a problem at all.

If you are looking for an F-150 go to the Ford build your own website and build what you think you would want to order. This will give you a "quote sheet" and send that to Granger and they will provide you with a wonderful quote that lists the list price and invoice price for what you want, along with their quote price. If nothing else this will be ammo when you go hunting at the local guys if that is what you want to try first.

Good luck and the 2024 order window should probably be closing soon and once it does it will usually take at least a couple of months for the 2025 window to open. If you get a 2024 order in now your wait will likely be less but a 2025 order may take a lot longer. Keep this in mind if time is of importance to you.
