Word on here is that they will rust.
If that happens switch to Ford Performance black lug nuts.

Are those just two piece Lug Nuts of Color? If so, not a good upgrade.
I’m pretty sure they are two piece like the originals! Not going on my truck. We’ll see how these work out!

Will rust that's why I opted for the Ford Performance ones. Had them on my truck now for over 2 years and no issues

I got one season out of mine. Rusted over winter. Replaced under warranty. See how the replacements do over this winter. That being said, every time the tires are rotated, the balck paint gets stripped off. So, these ones aren't looking great now either. How do the Ford Performace ones handle impact use?

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
Addressing the rusty gorilla nuts, I have owned15 sets over the decades. I have never had the first bit of rust even with 200,000 miles or more on several vehicles. I live in Dallas which may make a difference.

Don't know anything about the rust girdle other than I do not want to live there.

I’m in Louisiana! Which may be a good thing in this case!

I’ve had gorilla nuts rust on Toyotas. I quit using them, rusty nuts is not an upgrade. Road salt and/or a marine environment will destroy these nuts rather quickly.

If you are in neither of these environments, you should be fine.

I got the open ended lug nuts - no rust ...

I have the "Duplex Acorn Lock" set, and there has been no rust so far. This is my second set; my first set (2014 EB) was 4 years old and had no rust whatsoever.
