Good random h7 battery

Nah, the LFP adds more than enough reserve capacity. My factory H7 at just over 1000 days old is still going strong. It just cold cranked the ICE last saturday after having parked it warm with the HVB at minimal SOC. First flywheel start since the LFP was in it and it was probably the most effortless start I've heard it make. Granted it's only the 4th time I've heard it engage.

I did pull out the isolator though and verified the H8 fits with it just hanging in there. It's not super secure, but the 2 thick copper wires coming out of it hold it in place quite well as is against the batt.

Walmart H8 AGM is made from Varta in Germany. It’s an excellent battery.

Got curious while doing some underhood cleanup today so peeled back the label hiding "Made In ????" on mine ...

^Thiis one^ purchased 7/15/2023, knowing Walmart they might change suppliers at the drop of a hat to save $0.05 per 1000 units, so others may differ.

I just purchased an EverStart Platinum earlier this month with a build date of 11/24 and it was also made in Germany.

Just an FYI. Purchased a Everstart AGM Platinum H7 at Walmart yesterday. Has a JCH serial number and made in Mexico. Cheers.
