Lets' keep veering further form the F150 topic and start talking about CCA drones the AF is beginning to include, which will prove that you can basically inverse whatever Musk says. F35s are likely already incorporating them and I probably shouldn't say too much more or the ties will call.
Attritable CCAs looking for something to launch telephone poles at is an obvious future.

If I were the defender of such a scenario, I'd have standalone VLS "AA mines" a ship could run around dropping out awaiting coordinates and instructions for their lunch. That'd make for one helluva surprise.

Said arritable cca's could be the deliverers of the ordinance or ordinance themselves. Not as cheap as the telephone poles, but cheaper than the F35 and the pilot within without a doubt.

And if AA mines begin targeting the CCAs, it fast becomes a game of who has more. If said ships only defense is the VLS AA mines, it is in for a bad time.

That's a lot of "fishing boats" to take out. Nothing about the conflict will be fair.

Even the soon to be retired Ohio classes will be able easily identify who is dropping more than fishing nets from a safe distance and telephone poles will quickly introduce them to the bottom of the ocean.
