At least you folks got the option of having Sirius/XM. The pricks at Ford were "not able to get the chips" to make it available on my 2022 F-150 Sport I bought in October of 2022. I also was not able to get the Navigation package, allegedly for the same reason, or so the dealer said. I am still miffed about it not having even a single CD player in it, let alone the 6 CD changer I had in my '07 Freestar. This raedio does not even have the sound that one had.

Luckily I set a reminder on my calender telling me my subscription is up on tuesday.

I've been paying $6 dollars a month for a year and it's going to jump up to $23 so I guess it's time to cancel and play the what price will they offer game.

It wouldn't matter so much but I only have figured out how to set 5 channels that I scroll through with the steering wheel buttons and somehow I've messed that up because now there is regular radio in there that isn't even on a station. irritating.
Each year I have to get SXM on the phone and politely tell them I will pay $5.00 a month (that's reasonable) and not a penny more and each time, after the Customer Service checks with his/her manager, they always accept the $5. I've been doing that for the past ten years now. Of course by the time they add taxes and whatever, it comes out to just a little more than $5, but that's OK.

I’ve been doing the same thing for 10 years now. If the cost was more than that I would just cancel.

Precisely what I've been doing for about a decade, too. XM/Sirius sound quality varies so much (between tolerable and :poop:) between channels I'd never pay more than $5/month.

Have been paying $5/m for the last 4yrs, wish these companies would stop with the bs of having to renegotiate each year.

I am really surprised for those that think SXM doesn't sound good. Maybe y'all are expecting sound studio 128 channel FLAC 24bit or something, but SXM and Pandora sound as good as CD in a car.
Agreed, at least for live concert music. I pretty much only listen to Dead, Phish, Buffett and Springsteen. No ads on them and at least as good as FM radio for quality. Fine for these old ears. $5 / month well worth it.
If I was listening to classical music in a Bentley, I'd have my chauffeur cue up a CD or FLAC lol.

I let my subscription expire. I never like paying for a package where my money goes to support right wing religious propaganda. I prefer to load podcasts and tunes on my smartphone and use it as my audio source in the truck.

Sirius/XM Blues Channel. Does anyone know of a “free” streaming source that is equivalent? This channel is really the only reason I can consider renewing.

You could curate your own custom Pandora channel. You would just have ads now and again.

The thing I like about it is that they don't only play old blues, but feature many of the newer artists. A complete breadth of the genre,
