If I received PowerUp 6.8, do you guys think I'll be getting BC 1.3(1.4?) soon?
No, that is from December.

It will be coming but looking more and more like OTA might be in Q2 2024.

That's pretty much the same post made on the Mach-E forum. Lol

For a while it looked like things were starting to move forward with some of the prerequisite updates rolling out. Seems like it's really dropped off over the past 6 months.

Just bringing this back to the top... crazy that it still hasnt rolled out when it is included on the 2024s for a while now.

Seems like nobody on here is even talking about it anymore

After turning in the 1.3 features via Forscan, the hyped lane change feature is overrated. I feel safer doing it myself. Keeping the truck centered in the lane and not shutting off randomly due corners though is great, and the latest IPMA update is all you really need to improve the BC experience.

You don't have it but you hear it's coming, so you want it. Then you want it. Then you want it.

Then you get it.

You try it out and it either does or doesn't live up to your expectations, but regardless you quickly add it to the many things you have and just take for granted from now on. ?

I personally think it lives up to the hype 100% in the best use case. Long stretches of interstate where you just set it and it finds its groove and you rarely intervene beyond a mild touch of the blinker stalk. With no exaggeration I have done 100's of lane changes. It's pretty much been flawless.

I know this all sounds like a broken record from folks on here but…

For me, this feature was part of the reason I traded in my 2018 f150 in the first place … so it has been disappointment to see ford drop the ball here.

I have overall been ok with the BC product, went from a C+ to a B after the IPMA updates.

Ford, if you’re listening, please take care of your early adopters… especially those that have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on a subscription service that should see continuous improvement.

When the highway isn't crowded, the lane change feature is great. However, in NJ, most highway travel is congested and the system just takes too long to change lanes to be comfortable for me.

I'm often a pessimist. I doubt anybody using complimentary BlueCruise will get updated. I'm almost through with year 2 of 3 years of complimentary service. I believe the first condition to get a BlueCruise update is you must be a paying BlueCruise subscriber. I'm not and likely won't be.

They'll release it, likely under 1.5 designation. They may have decided to follow in tesla's footsteps and shoot for an end to end model. Coma.ai has an end to end model running on similar hardware.

Not easy to wave a wand and get it up to speed. Lack of progress from the 1.4 push indicates other avenues possibly being explored.

Has anyone successfully gotten a 2021 BC update successfully OTA?
