Front differential leaking @ 7600 miles

Interesting. Job 1 2021 here that had a pinion seal leak too.

I had two seal leaks on mine.

Passenger front axle seal.
Transfer case rear output shaft seal.

Both covered under the 60K warranty.

looked under my truck today and saw the skid plate was covered in oil. I pulled the skid plate and looks like my front diff is leaking as well. 21’ job 1 platinum max tow. Calling the dealer tomorrow to get it in. 22k miles

mine seems to be leaking too. Am I able to see the above area without removing the skid plate ? Not sure where it is leaking from ?

2021 job 2 lariat front diff pinion seal leaking with 44500 miles. Replaced at Essential Ford in Stuart FL under warranty.

I have an fx4 and had to remove the skid plate to see it. The skid plate did look wet from oil though.

sorry to keep bothering you ... did dealer fix yours yet ? was this a difficult repair ? do you happen to have the list of parts needed ? Mine goes to dealer on tuesday

Now worries yeah my dealer fixed under warranty with no issues. I don’t have the list of parts though sorry.

Ahh, man that sucks. A take it you didn't see any cracks in the housing. With any good luck hopefully it's just the seal leaking. I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow also a 21 J1 truck. Let me know how you do at the dealer.

Mine was leaking back in may ‘23. No cracks when they did it just the seal.
