Seal gets replaced under warranty assuming you are within miles the powertrain warranty will cover it. Seals fail, it happens, mine was fixed and I'm not concerned about it.

When bearings fail, heat and wobble can ruin the seals. Bearings are failing more these days since they are manufactured in China. Cheap junk. Be sure and let us know how long your new seal lasted.
