Front Bumper Parking Sensor Surround

Does anyone know if the black outer ring on these sensors is part of the bumper, the sensor or a separate part? I can't tell when I tried to look for the part.

Edit: I guess this is a separate part? The bezel? And it has to be painted if it's replaced?

It's replaceable... it's just part of the retainer that holds the sensor.

No. The system does use vision too, it's not just relying on the sonar.

I just finished installing a tremor rear bumper on my XL and had to install 2 different sensor retainers/grommets that angled the outer sensors properly. Both had to be painted to match, then they pop into the bumper and the sensor gets installed into them. No recalibration was required.
