Hmm, I don't know. And it wasn't saying it was going into a different mode to preserve battery or low battery or anything? It will usually say this on the screen and say remote features are disabled or something in the app.
Well at least we know there doesn't seem to be any magic number around the computer reported 30-40% where it won't start. I think my start problems are likely due to low fuel on a slope.
I thought my start problem was my sloped driveway and an inaccurate fuel reading. The electric motor running with no ICE is what led to my 3%. It started after I put more gas in it. It's doing strange shit. I'm pretty fed up with it at this point.
No, I actually just drove it the day before. My 12v battery has been bad like this for a while and it still said "passed" on the dealer test the last time I took it in. They finally replaced it with a new H7 after I said it won't charge past 70%.
Yeah, I've heard the flywheel starter more than once. I don't know where the low HVB causing no start idea came from unless Ford changed something recently.
Noticed my 2023 Powerboost seems to be targeting 80% charge on the 12v based on the reduction in charging amps. I thought this was the old strategy before the update?
