FP lowering kit - 2023 sport

Truck looks great! Did you measure before and after install at the fenders to see what your actual drop was? Id like to get the FP kit but Im worried its juuuuust not quite enough for my liking, and some pictures I see seem to make it out like it almost does nothing and then others, like yours, make it look pretty good. Im a 157” platinum so its not quite apples to apples but still. Im mostly worried about the shackles/block removal not being enough more than anything and needing a flip kit but I also dont want to go flip lit low.

I didn’t measure. The drop doesn’t fill the wheel well but it makes the truck look aggressive and eliminates that rake.

@Espi5.0 Is the rear lowered by a flip kit or just block/shackle drop ? Now that I have my truck, I'm getting ready to get the FP lowering kit and was just curious about that.

I have a spare set of brand new FP shackles if anyones interested. I installed a set when i first got the truck, and since i just bought the full kit i have the set from that, brand new never installed.

Not sure on max tow, but if you have the high payload package then it won’t fit.

how much for the shackles? Any way you can tell me the distance center to center of the bolt holes?

Could I ask y'all roughly, what you paid for the install ? I just ordered the FP kit and I know some folks have stated it took them 3 hrs "in their driveway". I just want to be prepared and not get some crazy quote. Thanks !!!

I paid around 500, which included alignment. Other quotes I received were around 800 so I felt pretty good about it.

I’d have to dig up the paperwork, but mine was around 800 if I remember . I went to Galpin so that I made sure it was covered under warranty. It can be done fairly easy in your driveway if you want to go that route.

Had the FP lowering kit installed for $715 at the local Ford dealer. It definitely feels lower and much closer to level versus the arse in the air look and feel. Rides the same, so , but needs a few more miles to fully settle the new front coil springs. I DID measure the stock heights and will get the "after" measurements in a week or 2.

Next: wheels & tires, 20's with 275/55/20's.....just gotta find the right wheel that isn't discontinued ?‍

Yes, an alignment was required. The tech's got it as close as possible, but said it's not perfect, so I'll have to watch that. Might end up getting these for a better alignment--- https://www.spcalignment.com/compon...=F-150&year=2022 - 2022&from=USAFrom&to=USATo
