Forscan - Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2024

Looking to see if anyone else has ran into this issue with trying to disable the start/stop feature on a 2024.. I did several “mods” in Forscan and this one didn’t work. Attached are the value changes I did.

Did anyone ever come up with anything on this? I just picked up a 2024 XLT and used the settings shown above, but didnt work. I tried playing around inside FS with some other auto start options but nothing seems to work.

I've been using the AutoStop Eliminator for a couple of years on my '21 F-150. It remembers the last setting (Auto Stop/Start either on or off) when the truck is turned off and on. No ForScan changes were required. It works great!

Thank you for sharing, I might resort to this option if I cannot disable in Forscan. Obviously, I’d rather use the Forscan route seeing how I don’t have to purchase anything - I could also turn off the “off” light on the dash.

I’ve searched high & low and have tried a bunch of different settings with no luck. I used the plug in stop/start eliminator on my wife’s 23 ST and it’s great… but as mentioned above, if I can avoid spending the $100 and just do it with Forscan I’d prefer that. I’m sure someone will eventually figure it out, hopefully!

I've tried disabling anything that says auto,stop or start and it's done nothing. Only thing it turned off was the on screen notification that I manually hit the off button. I got it to work on my 21 ranger but no luck on this 24 f150.

Yes, if I put it to the OFF position (disabling the stop/start). The AutoStop Eliminator keeps in memory the last ON/OFF position when stopping the engine. At the next engine start, the last ON/OFF position when the engine was shut down comes back. So in the event that you are nervous about warranty issues when going to the dealer, just put the AutoStop to ON (enabling the auto stop/start) before giving the keys, the dealer will not notice the Eliminator. This device does not cancel out the stop/start function, it just remembers the last position when shutting the engine.

It’s held on with clips like the illustration shows. I haven’t installed the eliminator yet but I’ve removed that trim piece from a few different 24 model trucks.
