New Release: v2022.02.27.0

For all us Forscan and AsBuilt junkies, I want to thank @iceman77 for the idea of displaying module-info :)

Under the Advanced Info page, you can now download your asbuilt data from Ford and it will display all of the module info and it's asbuilt.
Very nice update. Sent ya a donation from the script. ??

Question...

In the notes is says it will auto update 3-5 minutes but mine seems to not be doing that. Is there a setting or option that needs to be turned on for that to happen?

Thanks for all the work on this!

Anthony, please correct me if I am wrong here...

Note... there are two different values:

Last Checkin - This is the last time your TRUCK sent data TO Fordpass
Last Refreshed - This is the last time the widget refreshed the data FROM Fordpass.

Last checkin is labeled "Updated" in the widget and is above the "Unread Messages" banner in the full script display.

The "Last Refreshed" time is at the bottom of the full script display.

Hopefully this is correct... and makes sense. :)

Makes sense. The "last refreshed" is usually within a minute or two. The reason I ask is because the widget itself is usually one to several hours since updated. I can get to work and lock the truck and look at the widget an hour later and it still says unlocked.

Just wondered if I have something set wrong so it don't update or is this normal operation.

I've seen my truck go 19+ HOURS between "check ins". :-(

I just updated the official FordPass app on IOS to 4.12.0. Since the update, I keep getting a popup in the new app that my version of is expired (which is silly or buggy; I'm running what the App Store says is the most recent version).

Ford F-150 FordPass - Scriptable Widget V2022.XX (iOS, iPad, MacOS) 5BAC22CB-DAE0-41D2-A216-6D88A48E55EC

More importantly - Is Ford pushing API changes that are going to impact the unofficial widget?

Yes and yes.

To use Scales or Smart Hitch, need two things. Truck on (but doesn't have to be actually started) and Bluetooth connected. It does not work over Cellular connection.

For Bluetooth you have to be in range (less than 100ft, more like standing near the truck).

However, if you use CarPlay normally, then that basically turns BlueTooth off. So to use the app for Scales and Smart Hitch, you have to use the Sync screens to Turn on Bluetooth (which will ask you if you want to turn off CarPlay).

That's basically exactly it.
Last refreshed is the last time the dashboard was updated which also means the data was pulled from Ford.

The data refreshes between your vehicle and ford as spotty at best. Most days it updates in a few minutes but others it will go hours :|

Thanks for the clarification. I understand now.

What would make the dashboard and the widget different though? Like the dashboard/app seems to be updated but the widget is not? Or am I just imagining stuff now? I am getting older lol.

The dashboard I can control when it's updated. The widgets are at the discretion of apple to update.
I have a new version coming soon that may make the widgets a little more reliable
