I posted this in the other widget thread but I thought I would also share it here for those still getting errors (at least the error described below) after Tonesto's update today...

For those getting the error "No Vehicles Found - Enter VIN to Save" and still not getting in after manually entering... I had to reset my password through the FordPass browser page on my computer (not in the app) even though I did not forget it and could still log in through the browser and app. I clicked "forgot password" and then reset it through the email link Ford sent me.

Once I did that, I opened the FordWidgetTool, then touched the "Reset Instances" option, followed by "Update 1 Instance". I then ran the Fordpass Widget and entered my login with the new password. My VIN was found and I was able to get back in.

Hope this helps some of y'all.

Thank you Tonesto for all of your time and effort in getting the widget back up and running! It's unfortunate we lost the OTA and Sync info, but I know that this is not your fault and you selflessly tried everything you could. I really enjoy using this tool and greatly appreciate everything!

I'm trying to get all the bugs fixed as I find them... I think I'm done for now.

This hopefully won't be necessary after the second release today. Once updated the script should clear the auth tokens and force a full token refresh which should load the vehicles available for your user account.

Me too, and I came here specifically to see what's up. If you read the last few pages of this thread Tonesto is aware and working on it. In my layman's terms, Ford keeps jacking with the back end and Tonesto has to keep reacting to their changes.

I trust in his ability but ultimately if he can't get it working, I still blame Ford and not some dude volunteering his time to help us all.

I had to remove it. When I first added this the token used by Fordpass also allowed authentication on the digitalservice.ford.com APIs used by the Ford Website.

Then a couple of months ago ford started locking down their stuff for the Fordpass and Web separately. So I had to maintain getting two tokens just to provide the OTA data and sync info.
Now they've locked the token process down pretty well by adding a unique fma_verifier cookie to the login process to get a particular token version required to access the OTA info and it's just too hard to capture using Scriptable at the moment.

I'm all good with the added security but they need to allow authorized access to the API they created which is technically the same one we use for Ford Pass.

Yes, it will work. Just remember that you will need to do that every time the file gets updated.

No free lunches, lol. After changing the single attribute reference in the install script, it successfully created the widget. but cant progress due to the subsequent scripts reliance on icloud

looking thru the Ford widget script, would be just a matter of stepping thru and picking the local attribute for each function? Not a JS coder.

NM. Got the FordWidgetTool to exec after updating for local and it created the Fordpass Widget, but it can't complete due to that scripts icloud reliance.
Guess the answer is its not very feasible without a good understanding of java to update all downstream cloud references and flows.
Bummer, looks cool.
