Ford Protect - Flood vs Granger

I have used Flood Ford for years (last four vehicles). Always a smooth transaction and competitive prices. I have heard Grainger is just as good, but I have never used them.

Only can buy from Calif. dealer. People have said use another address, but have read dealers will not accept the coverage if bought out of state.

How would they know? Car and warranty could’ve been bought out of state. Or moved from out of state. Dealerships would definitely need to honor the warranty.

It shows where vehicle was bought and would show where warranty came from. Moving into state I would assume is covered. Florida has similar rules. People can do as they wish

You think Ford won't honor it or are you thinking that your CA state insurance regulator would drive down to your dealer and say, stop, you can't cover it. Seriously ?

Never know in this state. People can buy at their own risk. All the extended warranty companies don’t do Ca. Read the fine print. So who knows. Not saying it’s correct, but just an fyi. Would hate for someone to spend the money just to get screwed.
