If you're an apple user you can add some shortcuts to your phone that work with siri.

They tell you if your truck is running, locked, and can turn on zone lighting all from siri and not fiddling with the fordpass app.

I do wish the remote start could have preselected settings. Like 78* and heated seats on number 2 or something.

I'm sure the app is capable of capturing all this data, I would love to see the internal or external temperature of the truck as well. Since the app was launched I believe the trend has been removing features rather than adding them. Hopefully, there will be some sort of refresh in the future that could add additional functionality. I was playing around with my friend's F-150 lightning app and it's pretty much the same functionality as ours, overall pretty underwhelming

If I were to petition for Fordpass features, it'd be to return some features it already once had. On a Powerboost, remote control over ProPower for example. They were getting really close to some cool abilities before they reversed course and abandoned the "enhanced functionality" of Bluetooth connectivity.

So, particularly I would want Fordpass to support Bluetooth (point<>point) connectivity AND the additional functionality that affords the truck owner, compared to the cloud connection that obviously presents obstacles to features and functionality.

Compared to my wifes car I find Fordpass options pretty lacking so far. She can start her car and set the temp, heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, defrost etc and save multiple remote start presets so you can have one for each season. She also gets notifications if she leaves the car unlocked, can see the status and doesn't have to fly blind on if the doors are locked etc.

Why can I see my oil life but not if my doors are locked or set options for remote start?

Add to the complaints trying to start my truck. I usually just use the fob but figured I'd try app.

About 3 minutes after this message the truck just started. WTF. ?‍?‍
I already closed app and was getting up to get my keys. ?
