currently shopping for an extended warranty for my PowerBoost, and many people have recommended Granger. However, I've noticed that they charge a 10% administrative fee.
While Ford advertises interest-free financing on their Extended Service Plan (ESP), and Granger seems to as well, this hidden fee effectively increases the total cost. For an ESP priced at $3,245.00, Granger adds a $324.50 fee, bringing the total to $3,569.50. because this admin isn't included when you pay in full this effectively is a 10% interest rate you are paying completely upfront
This practice is misleading and frustrating. I know Granger reads this forum. You guys suck
Edit: To be clear, I'm not complaining about the price of the product. I'm complaining about how Ford offers interest-free financing, but Granger takes it away from you by charging a 10% fee for using the financing.
