From what I've read here, the smaller bar is due to changes in the suspension geometry from the previous generation. It would be interesting to see if you could swap a bar from the 13th gen truck if you retained your current end links.

Interesting…I’ll climb under both trucks this weekend and take some measurements and see if they are in fact compatible.

It's true that with the change in the front suspension geometry of the Gen14 trucks, the applied force equation is altered in a way that a much "thinner" Antisway bar would exert a similar "force".

It's like have a longer pry bar would require you to pry with less energy to pry loose the same object that you previously were using a shorter pry bar.

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
Beyond my pay grade, which is zero on this one.
Makes sense.

I'm curious how a striper 2wd RCSB front sway would compare to a Tremor.
Beyond my pay grade, which is zero on this one.

The front swaybar on a 2025 Tremor measures 24.8-25.0mm and it appears to be a solid swaybar. This would make it the medium duty option IIRC.

Ford F-150 Factory Front Sway Bar Differences? 1000012010

My front sway bar is 27.2mm.

So it looks like the Tremor's sway bar is indeed softer.

The Raptor and Raptor R have 30mm front sway bars, no idea if they are compatible with a non Raptor though.

Should be an easy swap. Just need the mounts and bushings as well. Not sure about the end links

It looks like you have the heavy-duty solid 27mm swaybar (ML3Z-5482-D, ML34-5494-CD). I believe the light-duty option is a hollow 25.4mm swaybar (ML3Z-5482-A ,ML34,5494-AC), this is only found on configurations with the 3.3L PFDI or 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine and 3,400 RGAWR. The medium-duty option used on the Tremor appears to be a solid 25mm swaybar (ML3Z-5482-F).

The VIN for the Tremor I took the measurement from is: 1FTFW4L87SFA19761
This VIN is for a 3.3L XL that should have the light-duty swaybar: 1FTMF1CB1MKE18189

Please verify the info I posted before ordering anything. I do my best to find accurate info, but I've run into so many catalog errors with the 2021+ F150s that I feel the need to add this disclaimer.

Can someone make an active sway bar with virtual disconnect? That'd be great. Needs to plug into the bus so it can read steering angle and off road modes.

For those who don't know how these works, a well-geared motor 'exaggerates' the bar's movement further countering body roll by putting more force into the inside wheel.

I test drove the 2025 Tremor and the body roll and ride stiffness was not night and day different from the other 2021+ F150s I've driven when driving on smooth paved roads, so I wouldn't worry about the swaybar being too soft. The Tremor stayed surprisingly flat when I found an empty section of road to run it through a slalom.

If I was looking to make a very noticeable change to how my truck handled, I would probably skip the Tremor swaybar and go with the hollow 25.4mm swaybar. I think the handling difference from Tremor swaybar will be too subtle for most people to notice with how our trucks are typically driven, but I haven't done a direct comparison between the different swaybars on the same truck.

Using some very basic and over simplified math, it looks like the Tremor swaybar is roughly 27% softer than the heavy-duty option. The light-duty swaybar is roughly 47% softer than the heavy-duty swaybar, and 27% softer than the Tremor swaybar.

The soft bar is less than $200 all in, I'll order one and test it.

I need to mock up my own version of a RTI ramp though to make sure it is actually beneficial. Also drive both off-road closely back to back.

What would be beneficial is adding the softest bar up front and a rear sway bar.
