I am on the way to the dealership right now. I am getting the exact metallic blue color with 7.4kw, tow and haul package and bed utility package. The additions they have put on this are the fx4 and some bedliner spray which are adding another $1500. If the price is only reasonably different from Granger I may get this as I did a component by component breakdown and the base price is $58500 which is 4pct below invoice. And then to that I add all the fees. The only things I am concerned about are which ones of these fees are really needed and which ones I should ask them to waive.

1. Registration fee - $484
2. Title $85
3. Temp. Registration plate - $38
4. Documentation fee - $464
5. Tire fee - $7.50
6. Supplemental title fee - $244
7. Notary fee - $5

Would I go wrong getting the fx4 package? The other option is wait 4-6 months for Granger.
FX4 is not a deal breaker... you can have the shocks replaced at some time in the future if you don't like the ride quality. Not too expensive. FX4 also can also help with resale.

Fees 1-4 are pretty standard. Don't forget the sales tax.

The supplemental title fee is an interesting one, but I don't know PA law, so not sure if it negotiable.
The Tire fee is interesting... never heard of that one before. Cheap though.
Notary fee should be part of the doc fee. But it's only $5, so no biggie.

You need to look up your state laws in regards to vehicle registration fees. The only way we're going to know if you are getting a good deal is to report the MSRP, dealer/Ford added fees, dealer/Ford added discounts, and financing incentives. State mandated tags, title, taxes, etc. fees aren't something you can negotiate and it can be different for different people by a considerable amount depending on state.

Please see window sticker. The dealer is willing to do $58500 plus the tax and fees as broken down below to lead to a total of $63,878.49

Tax - $4071.99
Registration fee - $484
Title - $85
Temp. Registration plate - $38
Documentation fee - $464
Tire fee - $7.50
Supplemental title fee - $244
Notary fee - $5

This is fortunate. By now mine would have been sold already for the asking price. Timing is everything they say.

$58500 + $464 = $58964 before taxes, title, and registration fees isn't bad on a $65275 MSRP on 24 MY. The $464 documentation fee goes to the dealer so I consider it part of the sale price. The other fees look like standard state fees that you cannot negotiate on.

Guys I am at the dealership and test drove the fx4. It doesn't seem to have the 4A mode which comes on Lariat. Is that normal?

On the left power window it sporadically did not auto close fully but when manager checked it it worked. The service center is closed. These guys are an hour and a half from where I live. If I have an issue, will Ford fix this at my local dealer? The guy says it comes under the 36 month warranty.

Any Ford dealership will be able to handle your repairs under warranty.
You are not required to go to the dealership where you purchased the truck.

I ordered my extended warranty through Granger and was able to use Ford Points for part of it. Something to consider.

In my opinion, one of the best things about the PB is sitting in the vehicle with the AC running and not using any fuel.
It is also really cool to cruise along at 45 mph on battery, even if it is only a mile or so.

It is not perfect, but as was noted in one of the other posts, read thru some of the other user experiences and make your on decision.

As I start looking at pricing and start understanding that dealers in NJ won't budge and therefore looking at either Granger, Ourismann or Chapman I want to get some honest insight on something. I have never owned a Ford before. I have always been a Honda customer. The largest vehicle I have owned is a minivan. So gas mileage was important. So I have narrowed down to f150 3.5l powerboost hybrid XLT supercrew. Would I be making a mistake buying this if the technology is new? How can I protect myself if I buy this and what happens when hybrid battery is exhausted? Do you also know any other dealers near NJ with a fair price? Also I have only test driven the 2.7l ecoboost. I don't have the patience in me to go again to a dealership to test drive a 3.5l. Can I assume the ride quality will be almost same?
My experience with a 2023 Powerboost was not positive. Ford will not admit to the issues many are reporting, which is annoying to say the least. I took the beating and traded for a 2024 EcoBoost, as I am still a Ford guy. Love the 2024.

A1977 that is correct, currently XLT's do not come with 4A. I use my 4A on a frequent basis as it seems to rain every afternoon in south Louisiana.

i have owned a 3.5 ecoboost, a 5.0 F150 and now a powerboost, it tows excellent, gets between 23 and 24 mpg and has boat loads of power. A couple of minor issues at first but nothing to lose sleep over. I would highly recommend a PB for an everything truck.
