Ford seems to be selling pretty good despite the prices, but Ram is down 30%. We know Ram is faltering because they got rid of the V8, nobody wants that I-6 so they are giving them away and even then nobody takes them. The old CEO from the Hellcat era was just brought back and they fired the guy they’ve had for the last 2 years so maybe they will stop playing stupid. Nobody is buying the 6 cylinder “muscle car” either. They built what nobody wanted and are surprised nobody buys it.

To me RAM is down because even with the 2025 models , they have gotten stale. Exterior of the new 25 vs 19-24 is 99% identical. Engines is only thing they did and i have to say both motors make big power. ( weather no one wants them and reliability remains to be seen )

Yup, even with $10K off MSRP they are still $55k for a Bighorn!

I haven't looked at a Corvette, but I would imagine there's more creature comfort BS in trucks now than there are Vettes.
Maybe. But they don't have an onboard Performance Data Recorder for analyzing track times!

Why do the trucks built non union by Toyota cost the same if it’s about the Union workers? This doesn’t hold water!
Only the tundra is assembled in the US
Tacoma is assembled in Mexico

I wonder how much of Ford's lower profit margins is because of their failed foray into the electric realm with the Lightning and Mach E? Those things are incredibly expensive to produce and they can't give the damn things away. There's places around here advertising $30-45k of those and they're still not moving.

Maybe the high prices are due to the snowflakes that fall in Weymouth.

You can't build your entire company on discounts and v8 noises and then crank up the price and take away the fun noises.

Talk about out of touch. Ram buyers don't give a crap about performance, they've had the 3rd place performing truck for decades. They want loud v8 noises and a low price.

They also want a TRX, not an RHO, TT V6....big difference between the two.
Cold start a TRX next to an RHO LOL

Now you're asking the right questions. I honestly don't know the answers, but I have guesses.
It doesn’t cost $15k to make a Rolex Submariner but people will pay the price.

Notice how McDonalds reintroduced VALUE meals as sales were down.
