I see tons of information/commentary online regarding the pros/cons of removing my Power Boost's engine cover, but nothing about how. What I would like to know is, "how do I remove the engine cover from my 2023 F150 Power Boost?" Combined with the height of the vehicle, it is nearly impossible to see into the deep depressions that contain the posts, bolts or nuts. Does the cover simply pull off or are there nuts to be removed? And what socket size is required. I have tried to gently pull on the cover but I am fearful of damaging the rubber/foam cover by pulling to hard. The reason for the removal is that I suspect rodents nesting under the cover. Thanks for any response.

There are 2 10mm nuts to remove (front of cover in each recessed area) and the rearward attachment points are hinged. Remove the nuts, pivot the cover upward, and gently pull towards you. A magnet will help fish the nuts out of the pockets in the cover. Or a needle nose pliers.

I'm going to Pass on a Replay, But use your Imagination Brother !!
My point is this.
The guy is trying to learn how to remove something on his own. And you do nothing but tell him to go to the dealer. This, is the equivalent of never learning to wipe your own ass.

I was tempted to remove the cover on mine but seeing as the cowl assembly pisses all over from where it dribbles from the center seam when it rains.

Ok Karen, I'm sure he can wipe his own ass , as you say! But someone asking how to remove the cover, gives me the insight that he's not a Motor head ! Like You . Quit pissing down my leg. I'm sorry you didn't like what I Suggested for him to do. LOL
