This might be a coincidence, but last night I received the latest OTA update: Priority Update 22-PU1009-MIL-PPO and this morning the electric motor wouldn't kick in. The engine was full operating temp, but the screen said "engine Cold" regardless of the engine temp gauge, which showed full temp. The engine idled at every stop and wouldn't go into battery electric mode. There must be a sensor that locks out the battery drive in cold weather, but outside temperature was 57'* this morning. Any suggestions?

Keep driving it. I have had this behavior after several updates... both OTA and FDRS.

I had the same thing happen this morning after the update. I also lost about 100miles of range on my DTE gauge (went from 150mi to E last night to 40mi to E this AM; I didn't actually lose any range, the DTE gauge was just showing lower for some reason).

After about 10-mi, the truck started driving like normal again going in and out of EV mode as expected. I topped off the tank and everything seems to be fine now.

From what I've seen any PCM updates will reset your fuel usage history. You'll see different numbers on your miles to empty estimate. It will go back to looking normal when it has some data logged again. Can't speak to the PB temperature thing since I don't have one.

Perfectly normal after some updates. 15-30 minutes of driving and you should be back to normal behavior.

Yea, you pretty much described a PCM update to a tee. Especially a Powerboost.

It's a reset of many parameters.
