When did you get the 2.7.1 update - when I was getting all the updates, I would get the next one 3-5 days later, happened automatically. Some updates are bigger than others, which makes me wonder if there are certain conditions that have to be met before it will allow the next to push as it likely drains the battery during an update some. I found the more frequent I drove it, the faster the next update would come, probably coincidence.....

I have been on 2.7.4 since June 18th. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when Ford sends you an update.

I don't have the truck yet to test myself but I have about 8 months worth of snooping under my belt. That being said, have you tried a battery tender to top off the battery while having the parking brake engaged?

When I check for updates it says no new updates—may be so. But I also have no idea which software update or version I’m on. I got my F-150 on July 22nd, and haven’t had any updates since I bought my truck. And no where in the software updates tab does it say which version I’m on. I called and asked Ford customer service and they said if I don’t see a version listed then I must be on the most current version. But how do I know that if I can’t even see the version I’m on right now?!? It sounds from this post that a newer software version has come out since July 22nd, so why haven’t I gotten anything yet? Automatic updates are on and they’re set for 1:00 am everyday.
