Anyone run into fdrs asking for a pin number to change lighting on the BCM.. This is on f550 chassis but i am guessing it would cross over to all units.. i usually change from incandescent lights to LED on our builds.. this was never the case until i updated to the newest FDRS..

Didnt Ford start restricting access to the BCM recently to dealers only?

This is not asking for the NATSA... It is asking for a ford pin or a NTEA body builder authorization code..

They published the PASSWORD in the FORD BBLB.. Not sure this effect f150 or not... but if you change your lighting from incandescent to LED and want to stop the fast flash or bulb out indicator you may need it... this is only with fdrs.. you can still make changes with forscan with no issues... going to look at one of our shop f150 to see if the same message pops up tomorrow,

After Updated TCU, the APIM update popped up!

APIM, GWM, TCU and sometimes the IPC are done in a certain order, so doing one will release the next one in the sequence. Once no more pop up, you've updated as far as you can go based on whatever Ford has available for your particular VIN.

I got failed messages on the second round of update TCU. Any idea how to solve it?

I would hit retry. I don't think I've seen that message before, but you may just have to run the config procedure on the TCU. What codes is the TCU showing?

Tried it several times but still got the same error. I don't see DTC as TCU box shows green. Did I brick my TCU?
