For those who lost SercuriAlert after doing the APIM update and a master reset. I reached out to the FordPass group and after getting the run around finally got to someone who knew what was happening. According to them SecuriAlert is being pulled temporarily as it’s being redesigned and is slated to come back officially in Q1 2023. I suspect those who have it will keep it (For now) but those who do a master reset will loose it as it has been removed as an available feature in FordPass for new users.

I’m assuming even if you didn’t do the APIM update but did do a master reset you would lose the functionality still.

Makes sense. I know the hesitancy to believe them but we are all aware of the issues SecurAlert has been having. I can believe if they are keeping it they are doing an over haul.

We will see I guess.

Redesign being that they'll disable it in the vicinity of dealerships because they're getting called out too often for doing nothing to trucks since introducing the feature...

We can only see the past 60 days of OTA history, and you got the two small patches before 3.5.2 and you got 3.5.2 just ten days ago. Your OTA's seem to be flowing nicely.



Same exact response as above applies to you. You also got 3.5.2 ten days ago.

Sorry if this question was asked before. I am looking at spliting the cost of the Mongoose plus ford2 to update my 2021 Lariat and also update a 2019 Platinum. Can FDRS update a 2019 truck also? Is this a good idea?

I am stuck with GWM, I tried many times to install the update but no luck.
Can any one please check what is the issue and show me the right path to do the update?

Can you be more specific. Where is it failing

Usb won’t install? Usb even getting made? Config failing ?

Configuration Failing.
It shows successful update but when I made a network scan it shows again.
I am looking to receive the APIM update after that.
