No. The only way I know of is with a network scan or it does it after a config and says updating database.

Does it seem odd that everything but the IPMA and DSM have updated by now? Do you think a bad value could keep the module from updating at Ford?

It will eventually. Yeah if you left the APIM out and it happened to be when the truck self reported it reported no APIM.

That or swapping apims back and forth can cause it also.

The truck will self report again with the apim in it. All you can do is wait.

If you want to turn the hands free on you have to change as built in the aapim

You will want to turn it on since when it self reports it will show whatever as build is in the APIM at the time. So youll want it correct

Hello Jesse, last time we spoke I was missing the apim data in my factory as builts. I tried adding the FXxx as mentioned above the other day and it would not take; it kept reverting back. Today I checked and my factory as builts were loaded. I added the FXxx and hands free driving showed up but my screen swapped again. I had to load my factory as built back; the screen is right again but hands free driving is gone.

I did get another one and since I found out I'd have to install updates from scratch I decided to put the original back in after we found out reloading the asbuilts would fix the screen. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the time with all those long updates again. I'm so close I can smell it!

Well if you want to send me your other apim I can update it for you. Did your online as build update and show the F or E there? If it is back possibly try a PMI on your original apim and see if it configs it correctly

When I started today it was F0xx and now has changed to E0xx. I tried twice this afternoon; the second time I did the PMI first and ended up with the same result.

You've been very helpful and I am just being lazy. I will attempt to load the other APIM. It's at version 20312 243. When it was installed I inserted the USB and rewrote the USB 5-6 times and it never did a thing. Waited hours on some occasions.

Yeah send it to me man.> I can update it easy.. No reason to spend all that time. All youll have to do when you get it back is install it.

So my 4/11/2022 Powerboost arrived with only a TRM update available in FDRS.

Jesse was interested to see what it was for such a new truck and reported it to be the BB update.
I still haven't ran the update so I am at about 3 weeks of having it in my possession and suddenly folks are reporting getting the BB TRM OTA, rather than FDRS. And Ford of course declaring the OTA update as the TSB update.

I'm just curious if the update sitting in the FDRS queue is going to eventually be delivered to my truck OTA if I don't manually apply it?
I also noticed that a mouse over the update in FDRS renders "TRM update G2194218-3.0"

I never noticed the mouse over data and wish I had so I could have possibly created a record for mapping updates, and then be able to differentiate updates listed for the same module?

Just rambling. Unlike my Job1 2021 Powerboost, this new truck is FDRS-boring. Lol

Another big thanks to everyone. After spending about 3 evenings running updates on my 2021 Job 1 non blue-cruise truck, I’ve officially succeeded in getting it up to Sync 22095 revision 421. And guess what.. my bed camera at speed side card all of a sudden appeared now to!! Yay!

I should be all set to haul the boat to the marina this weekend now.??

I'm going to give mine till 6/4 to send the TRM via OTA to my truck so we'll see if it does by then. If not, I'll pony up for a license as I have a trip with the TT and don't want to risk it.

Is there a reason everyone starting using the Mongoose cable? The original instructions say you can use it or the VXDIAG VCX Nano which is 1/5 the cost. My dealer has NO clue how to fix my stuck updates so it looks like I will have to do it myself. Thanks for any info.
