I'm pretty sure the October date is for when the current Bluecruise maps expire (and will thus get an OTA update). I think I recall reading they (the maps) get refreshed every 6 months. Your actual BC service expiration should be reflected on your connected services page.I've had bluecruise working since Monday, but still haven't received a notification from Ford about it and it doesn't show up in my connected services on ford.com. Also when I look at the BC on sync in the truck it says my current subscription ends in October of this year....no idea why. Anyone run into anything similar?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_HistoryHi everyone, I have spent the last 8 hours applying update after update, LOL. Couple of questions. Do I need all the updates? How many APIM updates are there, Also, I have installed two GWM updates, and another APIM update appeared. Do i just keep installing until there is nothing left?
THis is what I have left.

That being said, the last GWM update I applied, must have triggered the Bluecruise, because I got a message from Ford pass saying Bluecruise was ready. I still dont have the camera view in the side cards, at what point does that become available?
Thanks again for everyone that chipped in and put the instructions together to get this going. I really appreciate it.
i noticed that. Because that is one I did complete and it didn’t go away. Thanks for letting me know that is common.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History
For me that gear shift module keeps sticking around. After the second GWM update and the final APIM showed up, once that was installed, my sync version now shows 22034 version 364
Thanks. It was passed 2am and I wanted to keep going but I know the last APIM update took hours so I was afraid to start that one. I will knock it out today though.@MitchCox I think you need to apply that last APIM update to get the bed camera IOD card on the side and cameras at speed.
You'll be rewarded, that very last APIM goes quick! Thanks. It was passed 2am and I wanted to keep going but I know the last APIM update took hours so I was afraid to start that one. I will knock it out today though.
Hey Jason, I am not in TX, but was feeling the way you are before I jumped in and did it. If you read the first page of this forum, it lays out step by step what to do. What connector to buy, what and where to download the software. How to connect it to your vehicle and once you get it connected, run a network scan, click on the software updates tab and start running the updates. When you run one, it walks you through step by step. Very easy to follow.Hey Everyone!
I've been going to every dealership in the Dallas area and have no luck getting my software fixed! Luckily after doing much research, I landed on this great forum! In no way or form, I am tech-savy, and I wanted to see if anyone in the Dallas area can help me update my truck! Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time and reading my post.
I had an appointment with my local dealer last week, they told me they could do it. I dropped it off at 8am, at 8:10am they drove it from the check in area and parked it in the back of their lot, at 3:30pm, yes 7 hours later they moved it in to the bay and “applied the trailer brake recall fix” at 3:35, they called me and said they had been trying several times all day to get the BlueCruise update to take, but it failed. In reality, They didn’t even try!! They flat out LIED!! They didn’t know that my dash cam recorded every movement.I'm in the same boat. I have an appointment with Planet Ford in Garland on May 11th to see if they have any luck.

I was intimidated as well but after reading through it, felt like it was simple enough. If you run into any snags, there are awesome people in this forum that will help out.
Good luck sir.
You may want to post where in Dallas you live, as there are many on here from the Dallas area. I bought all of my stuff to do the update this week, now I just need to wait until I have the time to update everything late next week. Several on here have offered help if I need, and assume they would do the same for you.Hey Mitch,
Thanks for the reply and the push that I might need to knock this out! I know if I take my time and truly read the instructions I should be successful in the installation. I was just hoping someone in my area that has successfully done one before can help, but you're right and I should give it a try! Definitely be a good way to challenge me and become more tech-savvy lol
Thanks,
