Is Alexa coming to Job1 trucks?
I ask because although I had never spoken her name a single time in my life before a couple of days ago, I'm now all in.
I even have an Amazon Dot arriving today and imbedded Alexa in the Android too.

I had tried AI in the past. Cortana and Sync. They were very brief excursions because I didn't want to make the effort to learn or master them. But this Alexa in the new truck can understand my uneducated ramblings with remarkable coherence.

Last night I actually said "Alexa, I love you"
It was just a response to me being thrilled with the truck.
She surprised me with a serenade and I'm hooked.
I really hope Ford brings it to Job1

It’s pretty cool. You can start your truck trough Alexa too. I don’t use that stuff but can appreciate the usefulness.
Glad you’re happy with the new truck it’s a nice truck.
I thought that the updates released were going to sting it but maybe later on in June job 1 will see it

So I reran the network scan after doing the ABS update and had a bunch of DTCs to clear. I reran the network scan one last time and my BCM came back grey. Reran network scan again and it was green again. Not sure why I had so many DTCs after the ABS update when everything was previously green and then having my BCM go grey. @Jesse-Infotainment, is there any way to verify that my GWM is actually updated and that I didn't hose something by aborting FDRS during the GWM configuration process????

I can look at the file but if the USB update completes you should be good. I would run a PMI on the gateway. Select no when asked if original module is installed.

Did the PMI, but it fails when trying to configure the module. I tried again. After selecting No when it asks if I want to retry it downloads software to my USB again. It said the software was already installed on my Sync display so I clicked through to the next page in FDRS to start the configuration and it immediately fails.

Any ideas?

Finally got it to start the configuration process again. I guess I just need to let it run. It's been almost 10 min since it started. Would really appreciate it if someone could let me know approx how long the config process took for their GWM.

That means it sees that the software isnt where it needs to be. if it were it would not tell you to load A usb. If it detected it were up to date it would move straight to config. So I believe what is happening is a failure to config due to missing file. Let me look at your vin and see what files it shows.

I still have it. The file on the USB is MU5T-14H394-AAE. When it tried to install my display said that it was already installed.

You cant enable alexa without an update. there is no update available

I completed the remaining updates on my 21 PowerBoost Platinum Job 1 truck this morning. No issues to report. APIM updated to 421 as well. The only pending update is the GSM which others reported won't go away even though it was updated. I had a couple crashes of FDRS which occurred at the end of a programming session for a given module, but it never crashed where it left the modules in bad shape. Once it did crash when it had not yet completed other associated modules, which lit up some DTCs until I completed the updates on companion modules.

I tried out BC today and wasn't overly impressed, but the best improvement is the calibration for the hybrid drive itself. Overall it seems a bit less clunky now and it's easier to stay in full electric compared to the original calibration on my 01/27/21 built truck. It will also cruise longer at higher speeds on full electric versus the prior calibration. Transmission shifting also seems a bit better as well, and I had just reset the adaptations last week prior to performing all of these updates, so I could compare apples to apples. I easily completed this on a never updated Job 1 truck in the two day FDRS license window.

Jesse, "Alexa Built-in" is a 2022 F150 only feature currently. But Ford says:
