I have them and they turn really obviously with the wheel. Like lane change and you’re “whoa” when it moves.

It's difficult to pin down the trim level of your truck. So I don't think anyone can answer definitively if you have the projector LEDs or the reflective LEDs.
My 2021 Platinum has projector LEDs (window sticker).

Are those the 'dynamic headlamps'?

I always wondered why my headlights did funky things when I started it up in the AM when it was dark outside.

Just because I'm a smartass who long ago got a physics degree, I'll point out that bending light enough to be noticeable while driving would take a decent sized black hole.

(and then you wouldn't notice anyway, as it sucked the planet in!).

OK, back to more practical concerns . . .

I have the bending lights on both my 2024 F150 and my 2017 Jaguar F-Type.

At first I thought the ones on the F150 were inoperative. I could clearly see them boot up upon engine start. But while driving they seemed to do nothing at all. Especially when compared to the Jaguar. But then I noticed them working, but only at low speeds. The Jag seems to mirror the steering wheel position, high or low beam at any speed.

Interestingly, with high beams on, sometimes the fog light comes on in the direction of the turn.

If it's a Platinum you have it, but if it's a 501 thats a Lariat which does not have them, they are on the 502's and up.

Easy way to tell is if the headlights dance when you turn on the truck or they bend with the steering of the truck.

I have a 2024 501a lariat and it has dynamic bending projector headlights.

Do you have dark spots in the middle of the beam pattern? I’m finding the lights on my 25 with the same trim are terrible. It’s almost as if the upper and lower projectors don’t over lap enough, resulting in strong light where it cuts off, a dark spot and then lit up again closer to the truck. It’s really distracting when driving to have a lack of light where you would expect it.

My '21 Job 2 Lariat 502A has them and they're really noticeable when I'm driving around 35mph through my development's main drag which has a lot of bends, almost a zig zag. The lenses seems to turn a good 20-30 degrees in the direction of the turn. And I believe the fog light on that side turns off. I asked for a discount when I was buying it because one of the fog lights was out, and after some time they figured out it was because the wheel was turned slightly.

It's a bit confusing - your profile says 'Lariat' but you're talking about a Platinum here.

If you have a Lariat 501A, you do not have dynamic bending lights. If you have a Lariat with the 502A package and above (Platinum and Limited), then you do have dynamic bending.

Easiest way, post a pic of your headlights.
I have 2025 Lariat 501A. Has Dynamic Bending Headlights.

See this is part of the reason these truck prices keep going up and up. In this case they're including more standard equipment. In 2021 you needed the $7k 502A package to get these headlights.

My statement from a year and a half ago still stands. :) I can also enable Glare Free on mine, which I believe is still locked on newer models.

Good that they're adding (and probably removing) useful features in the new model years though - I might have been happy with an XLT if the digital IPC and 12" screen were standard in 2022.

I thought ford quit enabling the dynamic bending lights on new trucks because they aren't yet technically legal according to the nhtsa. Is this not true, or did they go ahead and approve them for use in the USA?

I’ve noticed a darker spot when on dim where on coming traffic lane would be, I am assuming this was by design to have brighter dims light up my lane and the ditch but not blind oncomers. But when brights turn on it disappears.
