Round trip from Prince Edward Island Canada to Labrador, Canada and back for a 100km canoe/ salmon fishing trip. Truck is loaded with 4 grown men, 2 canoes on top, camping and fishing gear for a week, deep freeze plugged into the pro power to keep food frozen until we got to the river. Was very...
I’ve noticed a darker spot when on dim where on coming traffic lane would be, I am assuming this was by design to have brighter dims light up my lane and the ditch but not blind oncomers. But when brights turn on it disappears.
Bought my 24 lariat BAP in December and my wife got her 25 Audi Q7 in Decmeber also. After driving through Canadian salty winter finally got a chance today to clean them up and have clean black vehicles
My 21 did not have a moonroof. My 24 does. Saw this post on another thread where @JJLikesIt truck wasn’t going into auto off at stop lights. He thought maybe truck was always trying to keep cabin warm so he closed the moonroof and now truck does auto off.
I decided to try this tonight so only...
I go into electric mode around the city alot also but it comes out of electric alot faster than my 21. Also I found that eco was less fuel efficient than normal on my 21 so I haven't played with eco yet on 24. I believe there are some threads on here discussing eco vs normal.
I have also recently switched from a 21 PB to a 24 PB. Mine seems to still go into electric mode after warming up. However I have noticed my MPG (18.5mpg over the first 3000 miles) is not as good as my 21 (~22mpg) was. And it seems like the truck won’t stay in electric only mode as long as my 21...
This would make sense in a fleet with different drivers in different vehicles but what about OP and myself who are driving the same everyday just two different trucks? In fact I’ve tried to drive for low mpg and still can’t match that of my ‘21
I had a 21 xlt PowerBoost with fx4 with 20 inch stock wheels and duratrac RT 275/60r20 tires. Was a great truck! Traded for a 24 lariat PowerBoost. Basically the same truck other than 24 is non fx4 but has moonroof. Even got dealer to swap over my tires onto the 24. Payload is 200lbs less so...
Any update on this. Just got my 24 a month ago and switched to the fuel economy screen. It was original 0-30L/100km then I reset the fuel economy and it switched 0-3-6L/100km and now it’s stuck that way. After driving for a week I thought maybe it would change back as the computer learned or...
I had a ‘21 xlt PowerBoost, sticker was 65,000$ CAD. Drove 70,000km and just treaded in for 40,000$ and got a new lariat, had no issues with it other than the 12v battery and a broken cv axle
Payload sticker is 200lbs different between the two trucks. From what I’ve read in this forum the moonroof decreases payload by about that much. Thats 200lbs of sprung weight. I wouldn’t think it would affect gas mileage by that much?
