Drl question

Ok so take it easy on me as I ask this question. I did look around here didn't find an answer. I have the quad halogen lights .. is it high beam or low beam thats used for drl. I don't drive my truck much so I haven't pulled up to a glass windowed store and see which is lite up.
I wish I had the fancier drl surround heads and fogs on higher trims I like the way they look

Pretty sure it's low beam.

The drl is full brightness during the day, then when you turn on parking lights it is still full brightness. Then when you switch your headlights on the drl dims with use of both low and high beams. But I’m not entirely sure what you are asking. The drl just dims with the different functions.

So when I'm driving my truck and I have drl on. I have quad halogen lights not the led around the lights. I'm asking which ones of my quad lights light up. I mean like I have the low beams then when I turn on high beams all 4 light up. Which set of the 2 lights high or low beam come on when drl is on.
I may be able to get to my truck later today or something to try looking. I'm horrible at trying to explain stuff I've got in my head. Lol

DRL should be active any gear outside of Park. Shift to neutral and set parking brake and look.

Thats a good idea. I'm not always around my truck and when I am I don't think about it. Lol.
