It could be easily fixed by swapping in a new/working DRL board, its just one boards with a LED for each light pipe. The hard thing is getting into the light however. Anymore you just need to the cut the lens off then reseal, that how all the retrofitters are doing it now and how it was done on mine when I got them customized. So if you know a buddy or someplace close that could get into it, it would be petty simple, but you'd have to find a whole new housing too to steal a board out of as well. At this point just find a nice used one, they are pretty cheap to find now.
lighs look amazing ?

It’s a bit unsettling how many 14th gens that I have seen out on the road with a DRL burned out.

Is there a comparison of the aftermarket options anywhere? Most that I’ve found are for those replacing the OEM halogens, not the OEM LEDs. This is the second DRL burn out I’ve had in the 6 months I’ve owned the truck (a fog light DRL went out right after I bought it, luckily the dealership addressed it as part of the sale) and seeing the reports that this is a common issue makes me hesitant to get an OEM replacement.

From what I can see I can buy a single OEM replacement for about $300 on eBay. The aftermarket options run the gamut from $700 to ~$1500 for a pair. I think everyone is in agreement that the $1700 for an OEM replacement from the dealership is right out. Does the community have any strong opinions on the matter?

No projector LED compliant aftermarkets yet.

Be careful of ebay headlamps, they're often from wrecked vehicles and have broken retention hardware. Pay very close attention.

Your one stop shop for (almost) all wrecking yards...
This is a great site. I used to use it all the time while working for Thule to buy roof sections for testing. The great part is, the junk yards typically know their way around the vehicles and how to get parts off without breaking tabs etc.

No LED compliant aftermarkets yet, they're all for non LED headlamps with different wiring.

The Morimotos work on the LED reflector models. They just don't have an option yet for the LED projector models due to the auto leveling features.

Someone correct me if im wrong but I have yet to see the LED projector version with this issue. Seems to be something different with the DRL's in that variant.

Yeah, I see they do it w/ an adapter. Quite pricey for what they offer and the DRLs don't jive.

Yes, there's been some projector unis w/ DRL issue, it's not just reflector units

Morimoto has always been high quality at least from all my experiences with them. On par with OEM at least IMO. I will admit that I find these to be a bit over designed as they thought to correct the lack of "C" lighting, seems most don't realize the "C" is using the fog DRL for the complete look.
