Drivers Side Door Rattle

I’ve had a faint but highly distracting rattle in the drivers side door of my ‘22 Tremor for the last 1000 miles or so. It sounds to be coming from the dead center of the door, possibly near the door handle. I’ve taken it to the dealer once to no avail and plan to take it back soon. Videos attached below. I’ve tried foam tape between the panel and the door itself but that didn’t seem to help. It’s more prominent on bumps, acceleration, braking and higher speeds.

I have a rattle in my door when hitting a sharp bump. Have taken the truck in a few times, but still have the noise. I found that if I just tap the window down switch, real fast, to take up pressure off the window, my rattle goes away. I am thinking the Fatale is caused by the window arms when they are under pressure.

Does yours sound similar to this? The first time I took it to dealer they replaced some module with the window. I had also seen several threads here relating to the window, so I was hopeful that would fix it.

Have you found out what this is, I have the same thing. I think I've narrowed it to the door actuator, the clamping mechanism that holds the door closed.

Haven’t figured it out. Mine is going back to dealer on Wednesday. Forgive me for my lack of terminology knowledge - which part specifically have you isolated it to? For a while I was convinced it was somewhere near the door panel bolts in the center of the door under the handle/armrest. I have not taken my door panel off though so it all comes from adding pressure to certain areas.

I also tried electrical tape to make the door latch more snug but if that helped it was marginal and didn’t get rid of it.

I also am sorry for lack of terminology. Where the door latches to the actual truck that mechanism in the door has three screws I think it's coming from there I've attached a picture. I can get the door to do this same rattle when the stereo is loud with emphasis on bass with the door open. When I pushed on one of the torque screws circled in the picture it got much quieter. So maybe the latch mechanism has something loose or there's a worn bushing or something. Mine does it at 70mph+ or songs with heavy bass in it. Let me know if that makes sense

Interesting. I’ll see if I can recreate it that way. I haven’t been able to other than just normal driving over bumps. Mine seems to be more at lower speeds but I have heard it on the highway too. I’ll mention it to servicer advisor but who knows if they’ll actually do anything about it. If they do end up fixing it I’ll update with what they did.

I had this similar rattle. It was the trim piece front and center of the door. I popped it out and popped it back in and it went away. Just some metal clips holding it in. (sorry for the crappy pick, surprisingly hard to find a picture of the whole door inside on google.)

This was where the rattle was on mine too. I've had to put some felt tape in there to get rid of the rattle.

Update: Got truck back from the dealer with a “fix”. Apparently they put foam tape between the door panel but this did not resolve the issue. I believe I’ve further narrowed it down to the door handle area/plastic door handle. This is very elusive.

Mine is doing the same and it seems to be coming from the handle as well.
