I have a 4 dr 2023 F150 STX that has a crazy annoying rattle around the door handle area. (Video below) I’ve seen plenty of threads from guys with the EXACT same issue, my only question is, has anyone found a fix? I’ve exhausted every option I can think of. Removed door panel, Foam in the door, felt tape in all the nooks and crannys, also felt taped the plastic piece that covers the mirror assembly. Nothing. I’d really appreciate if anyone found a fix could help me out, because this is driving me nuts. Thanks, God bless

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

Almost 100% certain it is this. Mine had this exact same rattle that appeared a week after I bought it 2 years ago and this fixed it and hasn't been an issue since.

Try wrapping the female side of the harness connectors for the window switches. I had a rattle on my drivers door from that. You can also try opening the door and lightly beating along the bottom door lip with your palm or fist by your pinky starting at the front moving rearward while listening to see if you can isolate the source that way. You want to hit it just hard enough get the door to vibrate. I had to do this very thing a few times when hunting down various rattles in the doors.

Grab a beer and get to thumping on it for a bit and you should be able to find the source in a few min.

I actually figured it out. My black door hinge mechanism thing was dry as a bone and was rattling when the door was shut. I soaked it in white lithium grease and no more rattles. Thanks for the help tho!!

How did you tighten the 7mm bolt? Mine just ends up spinning the rubber washer no matter what

Mine does that too. It’s open ended on the other side of the thread, it doesn’t necessarily lock into place when tightening

I filled the gap where the rubber grommet "nut" fits into the door with clear silicone then let it cure when I was working on the speaker installs. Since then it hasn't spun when reinstalling the bolt.
