Does anyone know what this hose on the rear axle is for?

2024 F-150 Tremor, only driven over 1300+ KM, noticed this hose in a strange position today.

Does anyone know its function? Is this position normal?

I believe its your rear axle/differential vent tube?, should be attached up against the bottom of the bed

well, do us a favor. Trace the hose and take a picture of where the hose ends.

Hi, bro. I wish I could find another end of the hose, but the hose goes through the spare tire above, and I can't find the other end on the other side. ?

Could anyone please check if there is the same hose in this position on your car

Like its been said rear diff breather hose and that is hanging to low and can lead to water ingestion---needs to be up as high as you can get it!!

So I don’t have a trimmer model so I can’t get you some exact routing pictures however with the trimmer being more of an off-road model, it has extended vent hoses. You gotta trace it back for yourself and see if it ends where I circled it in white.

My trimmer is a 2024 Tremor, thank you very much for your photos, it looks like the fixed clip has come off, this port is a ventilation port.

Not sure but would check the to see if the axle vent tube is filly connected

I would think it clips to bottom of the box floor.
