I’m working on installing a wireless MagSafe charger in my media bin that I need to power. I have a wire ran to the fuse panel in the passenger kick plate.

However when I was working I found an unused connector that i was wondering if I could use for power. And I unfortunately don’t have needle tipped probes to check it with my multimeter.

Good idea I will try that.

Id still like to know what the connector is so if it does have power I can get an adapter for it so I don’t have to touch the factory wiring.

Even if it has power it might not have the amperage you require. Given how sensitive everything is in these trucks I think your best bet is to use wire you already have to fuse panel.

I would check with the Dealership. The harness should labeled and the dealership can tell you what it's for and which fuse in your panel it's connected to.

You really have to be careful with all the tech in these trucks. Tapping the wrong draw into the wrong circuit can cause weird problems.

Can you narrow it down to any of these?

@Boen was spot on. It was the plug for the key fob antenna. I’m an idiot and forgot i unplugged it and then got excited when I saw it thinking I could steal power from there.

thanks for the pic though. That diagram is super helpful.

Good that you caught it now. Never know when you might need the secret fob hole to start the truck.
