Why would they not just put those seats in and add the chip that controls them later ?!? I too had a 22 Platinum on order but $cored a fully chipped Limited that has been a PITA ..
It's not a chip problem it's multiple parts to make the seats work, switches, wiring, pumps, bladders, etc.
The bottom seat bladders, which are the constraint and currently on back order (and have been intermittently for about a year or more). These are the same on driver and passenger.
@dolsen Just wanted to see if you ended up getting the seat bottom bladders delivered. I see you mentioned on 22nd that you got shipping notification. I've got my cart built with Varsity to pull the trigger on the parts list for the MCS but wanted to see if they finally came through for you or if I should search elsewhere for those. Thanks!
I almost came on here and posted that they were delivered but assumed no one cared about a “play by play” lol. Yes I got them on the 27th, after ordering them on the 9th
lol totally get it! I’ve had some extra time on my hands last few days and have been playing catchup on a few threads about getting stuff put back that Ford removed. When I saw you had ordered from the same place I was going to order from, figured it’d be nice to know ahead that they were able to come through. Thanks for confirming ? FYI, just because I got them doesn’t mean they didn’t go back on national back order. Varsity is very good about letting you know if an item is on back order as well as a release date. So I would still order them, just don’t be surprised if they don’t have any in stock

Did you ever figure out or get a response as to why these 2 are so drastically different in price? I know your post was from back in Feb but pricing seems to still be same. Assume you completed your install, did you end up just purchasing as per guidance? About to pull the trigger myself on everything...fine paying the extra just more curious than anything. Thanks!
Dont pay the extra... I am guessing they are price gouging based on availability and their inventory... If for no other reason than the principal I would not pay the $333.
Appreciate the share....Interesting. So I just opened your xlsx and I see you had listed on line item 3 (Seat Back Passenger, Part # MU5Z1565500A) price per was $324.28. So did you end up not buying that item, and just purchase another Seat Back Bladder Driver side (MU5Z5865501A) for $131.06?
What Ive discovered is the harnesses are really the same. Only difference would be the 8 speaker or the 18 speaker. The power running boards dont matter.
