Do you prefer color matched, or chrome?

I took a liking to the base lariat look.

You get the chrome bumpers and grill, with the paint matched mirrors and door handles. Machined wheels instead of chrome or grey/black. Kind of like the chrome package but with less chrome.

My subjective preference in the first photo; grille and bumpers chrome, all the other chrom bits need to be black.

Please! No chrome or color matched mirrors, they also need to be black.

Both can look amazing. I like color matched probably more, but Ive had some nice trucks with chrome..

I had a sport package Ranger and the rock chips starting showing up instantly. So as much as I like the Sport package, the old school hardened CHROME (I'm Old School) and less costly package on 500A Lariat led the way and I love the way it looks. I ceramic coated the chrome when I did that paint and not much need to keep clean and shiny!

I made sure to get chrome bumpers for less visible rock chips or if ppl scrape my bumper ( my mustang has been swiped 4 times in the same spot!)

color match IMO looks great but chrome is preferred here becasue of the tiny rocks from the high traction asphalt, they beat the crap out of painted bumpers real fast
at least the chrome is a bit more robust than the paint. but one could put PPF on the bumpers.
its all a matter of Personal CHOICE . go with what makes you happy

I prefer color match, but like both. My '22 Platinum has the chrome stuff. I didn't care for the BAP package because I didn't like the grille, wheels, or hood. I plan on CM'ing the door handles, mirror caps, wrapping the window trim, and fender badges eventually. My F250 Lariat was color match with chrome and to me it was perfect. Again, personal preference.

I really like the black and chrome look so that's what I went with. But at the end of the day, go with what will make you happy.

Today's trend seems to be color match or all black. So be it BUT living in a rural community in NW IL with all rods not necessarily being a 'hard' road we find that the chrome on our '21 Powerboost is much ore resistant to chipping. Besides folks we know that have color match seem to do more touch-up paint chip repairing. And besides - we're old school anyways.
