Has anyone installed Katzkin leather interior yourself? I’m going to give it a go. Haven’t found much on 21+ install information. Has anyone done it themself? Any tips on install?

Here is a good one for installing the front seats.

Check these out oem take off new. For a fraction of the price
https://www.ebay.com/itm/275225643024.

there are some on there to that don’t have the rear arm rest.

I put some in my single cab for $179. Wife thought I bought the dam seat they looked so good. Take your time and stretch them hard will putting them in so don’t get any wrinkles.

Nice, thank you! Hadn’t found that video yet. Those won’t work for my XLT unfortunately. Do not have a fold down armrest in the backseat on the XLT’s.

I did it on my '22 XLT. Wasn't too hard, just some sore fingers afterwards. Took me about 6 hours in all. I did the front seats one day, then the rear seats the next day.

But once it's done, it looks great. It really completes the already very nice XLT interior.

I also installed Katzkins on my old 2015 truck years ago. That truck has 110,000 miles when I sold it and the seats help up great.

personally, between the Katzkins and the OEM Lariat leather I think the Katzkins felt and looked nicer. I have sat in both and I think the leather of the Katzkins is nicer. but I cant tell you what kit or grade of Katzkins they were if there are options.

Looks great, how long would you say install took? I’m assuming you removed the front seats, what did you do to the rears? Thanks man.
Do it, that and leather XLT steering wheel have been two best interior upgrades

Yes the front and rear seats unbolt easily, it helped having a SuperCab as well with no b-pillar to get in the way.

I followed this video guide online, it’s a long video series, but very in depth. This guy walks through the entire process of stripping the seats down to the frame and dealing with the airbags etc. I kept my original fabric seat upholstery and made them into dog-covers for the seat.

katzkin is pretty good but they don't account for wear like OEM. OEM uses pleather in some spots whereas katzkin typically uses the same leather everywhere. You really need synthetic material or really thick high grade stuff at the wear points. The pleather stuff is actually more expensive than real leather, but the wear characteristics are such that its durability exceeds leather which is why it's there in the first place.

But I have seen some Katzkinz reports of handling wear well.
There are options, right?
