Hey all, I swear that my B&O Unleashed audio system sounds significantly better over the past few months than before! Did Ford send out an update? I never read any audio improvement in those updates.

It sounds so good now! More clarity! I have 2023 PowerBoost.

Have u all noticed?

My audio settings:

0 treble. -1 mid. 0 Bass. Mild speed volume. Surround mode.

I'll need to pay closer attention to mine. I found the remastered "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" from the Pulse tour is my benchmark for this system and haven't put it on in some time.

If you have the Ford App on your phone, it will show you info on software updates for your vehicle.

Go into the Ford App (needs to be connected to your truck), select Settings, then Software Updates. The last over the air push will be listed under the Release Notes section.

I told my wife that yesterday, something sounds different in the sound system, can actually hear the rear speakers more! The sound is a lot fuller for some reason!

That is my point…none of the software updates say anything about audio improvement……but my ears tell a different story.

Not mentioned, but are you using Android Auto or Carplay? I know Android just did an update and, while not mentioned in the notes, I hear a slightly improvement playback with Amazon Music.

Last night only my AM/FM would work. No Satellite or Bluetooth. That must have been the update. However, I have 8 speaker B&O and it does sound better.

-1 treble. +1 mid. +1 bass. Medium speed volume. Surround mode.

There does seem to be a difference in mine. Rear speakers seem more pronounced and "cleaner", especially when fading to the rear.

Are y'all listening to regular FM radio, HD FM radio, memory stick, Bluetooth, or Android Auto/Warplanes (wired or wireless)? I've noticed that HD FM radio sounds much better than Bluetooth and wireless Android Auto.

Straight Apple CarPlay only. And that is the comparison I am talking about.

I'm playing my benchmarks off of a USB drive with very high quality files.

I'm going to have to dig in to this.... where a past update lowered the system volumes, a subsequent fixed them (particularly for all sources other than the radio's built in Sirius, terrestrial, etc.) But this weekend on a drive, i thought the Bluetooth sources were quieter again.

I also bumped into an error I'd never seen. I was trying to get to a tab (i think in Amazon Music). And the screen up in that panel with an error that was something like "Cirrus Error". I backed off that screen and clicked on the link again and everything seemed ok
