I'll have to read my paperwork...but I took my truck in... they didn't have to do the long, brick on the accelerator test... but it took them some time to check.
I'm going to have to dig in to this.... where a past update lowered the system volumes, a subsequent fixed them (particularly for all sources other than the radio's built in Sirius, terrestrial, etc.) But this weekend on a drive, i thought the Bluetooth sources were quieter again.
I also...
Good summary. I've been keeping my total in fuelly since start and i keep meaning to adjust this. Is the dig speedo adjustable too? or is that a forscan thing?
i watch too many Lockpicking Lawyer and DeviantOllam videos. Immediately looking for the easy to pick secondary tube lock, and wondering how well that roller lock is done to make it tough to pick.
In that rear jacking picture... are they showing it jacking on the axle itself... or something in front of it? it's odd they show some sort of block or pad on the jack under the pumpkin... but they don't show the same sort of thing for the jack under the axle (or wherever they are trying to...
My truck has basically 100 MTE once you reach 0 MTE according to the gauge. I should probably get on reprogramming that as i've had the truck for more than 2 years and things have settled in.
I've seen some different fuel tank sizes listed for the '21. Not meaning the big upgrade tank, but rather what the standard tank size is.
it looks like they can be 23 or 26 gal. i need to confirm which.
well never mind i guess... reg and supercab are supposed to have 23 gal, and crew cab...
question, if the fault appears.... does it only appear once... never to return...even if the problem still exists... or do those codes come up a lot...like every time you start the truck, etc?
On that... my dealer said that unlike in the old days... when Ford would repair paint and other cosmetic issues that were found after the dealer took possession and vehicle was being sold to owner.... now, when the dealer signs for the vehicle as it comes off the truck... they are accepting the...
I can't see any dealer agreeing to do this.... something you'd almost have to someone else do at the dealer's place for you before it were shipped to you.
I've got Nokian Hak R3's on order for my truck. I bought 200 lb of sandblasting sand (since it's cheap and doesn't have moisture like regular sand) to put in the bed.
Friend gave me the rims off his '04 to use for snow tires.
I'm checking to see if anyone knows of replacement lug nuts for the '21 that will work with the '04 center caps.
basically, the old lug nuts had a rim that the center cap snapped and grabbed onto.
The center caps look like so
So...
I need to drill my plugs for the Retrax drain lines. I want to take the plugs out to do it.
I assumed these things were more of a rubber-type material that would sort of squeeze in and out...but when i tap on them, they feel like hard plastic.
before i break out the screwdriver and pry... is...
I've got in-bed lights and I've been turning them on and off when needed (I've got a Retrax cover, and find I need them more than I'd expect).
Anyway... what i'm trying to figure out is if they ever were, or could be tied into the general truck lighting... meaning... will they auto shut off if...
Well, i did figure out how to scan. Tells you how much i look at the controls on the truck. There's a whole bank of physical knobs and buttons below the display... so hold the next or previous track button in and it will scan forward or back :)
Not sure if there's an additional hardware component in trucks with this option...or if merely having the tow package and 360 cam system is enough for it to work.
I don't have FORScan...but after watching some vids on it, I got to wonder if this is something that can be enabled by a user.
