Howdy everyone, Just found out today that my Platinum has finally been shipped and should arrive at Granger between now and the 15th of January. I also got verified from Ford Customer Service that my military appreciation will also be good. As far as I know the 2.9% interest is still going to happen as, although I have not heard for sure on that. It would have been nice to have 0%, but hey, it's still beats the Credit Union and bank rates. I'll let you know how the truck is and how it performs on it's drive from Granger back to Kansas when I finally take delivery. Happy New Year everyone.

Howdy everyone, Just found out today that my Platinum has finally been shipped and should arrive at Grange
We did long distance business with Granger. My Daughter just got her 2022 bronco a few month back and purchased a ford extended warranty at the local dealership, at an outrageous price, I advised against it. But they laid in the scare tactics. We got home I checked with Granger they were hundreds less, longer coverage, lower deductible, with key and light protection too! We Cancelled the policy with the local dealer and paid the 50$ fee to ford and signed up with Brooke at Granger. Like to know how it is to deal with them in person is!

But I digress....we Just picked up our new 2022 F150 super Crew xlt on Friday, It was to be 2500 dealer discount 1000 ford incentive. We chose one that was at a sister dealership a couple hundred miles away on January 2nd and put a deposit down, it had most options and the color we wanted.

They got it on the 4th and arranged for pick up on the 6th. Short story when we went to pick up
we thought we had locked into the previous incentive which ended on the 3rd. Without getting into too much detail they still honored the 3500 off MSRP (the new incentive is tied to a loan) no charge to transport and got a full tank of gas all 36 gallons!

But dealers are offering up to 5000 off of 2022's super crew cabs especially the 5 ' bed, we went for the 6.5'. Ken Graf has a lot left at his various ford dealerships, I have no idea how much fine print that price has. Just a note dealers were doing that before the incentive changed.

Before:: It was dealer discount of up to a max of 3995, plus Ford incentive of 1000, though the average seemed to be about 4000 total off.

Now: Still abut the same or Less if you want to finance, there is an xlt at their Fort Collins dealership that has 4121 off plus the 1000! if still in stock that is another thing. The dealer my truck was transferred to put our truck on their site the day after we Picked it up at 750 off!

In our case we wanted Altas blue and 6.5 bed, the bigger discounts seem to be 5'

Well, me again. I guess it depends on who you talk to. Granger said my military appreciation wasn't on the Smart Vincent. I called Ford again, was told nope, all the incentives expired the 3rd of January. I tried stating my case that my order on August 1 was to either use those incentives, or ones at delivery. Oh no, they still insist those incentives all expired on Jan 3. My truck was built and ready to ship November 22, 2022, to this day it is still in transit. I'm not sure what to do, seems to me that Ford would have to honor the incentive as it wasn't me who delayed shipment until after the expiration date. Not sure how many others are experiencing the same crap, but I say shame on Ford if they don't make good. The MSRP is $78,845. My military discount was supposed to be $500. I did over 20yrs service, went to war, and have eared the privilege's of the Ford Military Appreciation rebate. The lady at Ford said they didn't offer that. BS If it wasn't for Granger already giving me the discount, I'd tell Ford where to drive their truck. Still tempted, and the way it looks, I have time to consider other options. I'm not sure if there are any legal ways, or reports to file, as this is definitely bad business practices.

The Military and First Responder discount languages usually mirror each other. I was able to input information for purchases before and after 1/2/23. For purchases after 1/2/23, the eligible date extends to 2024. Go to this link and input your info:

You'll probably need to create an ID.me account and verify your service to complete the process. If they email you a voucher or program number I'd think it would be hard for them to not honor that. It's worth a shot and thank you for your service.

It seems Ford only recognizes active duty or within 2 years of separation to qualify for the discount. Never understood the reason for that. It's insulting.
Agreed, I guess my time in the service and at war overseas is only good for 2 years lol

I read all off the above, I never served, my dad did, so given that thank you for your service!

Having never looked at the ford military program, I always assumed that it extended to all honorably discharged vets. In fact I had to look it up my self to believe!

Ford does not even say 2 years they give it a larger sounding number of 24……. Months that is! My dad would have been so upset!

As I said there are a lot of 2022’s (in one month there will probably be scorching deals but less choice) out there! I have even noticed 2021 new tremor. Some dealers have as many 22s or more then 23s.

Our 22 was labeled on fords site as newly arrived.

Dang I guess that is why my dad never owned a Ford. He is 90 and served in the 50's. :)

To be fair, I don't usually dwell on that stuff too much because I didn't join the Marines for the discounts lol, BUT it would be nice to not have the commitment trivialized. I was able to use my service to get x-plan through veterans advantage though. That saved me about $5000 between the discount and the discounted doc fees.

Good info and congrats! What’s the deal with Granger? Are they offering trucks at invoice or below? I have some flexibility but would need the vehicle by Summer of ‘23

Check out Irwin Ford in Laconia. I ordered my Lariat at Invoice - $2000.
Are folks seeing/hearing dealers entertain offers below MSRP? I have my eye on a ‘22 Lariat BAP 502A that has been sitting on a dealer lot for going on 40+ days. So far no movement on price.

Thanks, I have done the ID.me and emailed the program number and certificate number to Granger. I'm really disappointed that it has to be this way for anybody. And I still don't have a delivery. It's very discouraging and puts a foul taste in my mouth. I just hope if I do get the truck, it's worth the BS.

My local dealer's sales manager told me today that he would accept x plan on lot inventory. Things are looking up!
