Are folks seeing/hearing dealers entertain offers below MSRP? I have my eye on a ‘22 Lariat BAP 502A that has been sitting on a dealer lot for going on 40+ days. So far no movement on price.

Laura Ford near St Louis was selling 2022s for between 2.5-3% below invoice. I got $6500 off MSRP on my Lariat order, which was finally delivered in October. Only downsides were the $500 dealer fee and not being able to wrap my taxes into the deal because it was an out of state deal. They were quite easy to deal with. Very transparent. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're advertising the those deals the way they used to on their website, but I recommend reaching out to Jason Hawkins at the dealership to see what he can do, if St. Louis is closer to you than the other dealerships mentioned in this thread.

Grain of salt since I'm up in Canada, but when I bought in October, I got just over $9k off an 2023 XLT 302 order. Dealers refused to budge on 2022s.

I think our local dealer is still below MSRP -only- on orders, MSRP on inventory, MSRP+ADM on highly desirable inventory like the Bronco, F-150 Tremor and Raptor, etc.

if the sticker is around $75k then xplan would be near $70...i would push the $70-71K please taxes as something mentioned. $4-5K off sticker is respectable in these times. also, if its out of town, try striking the deal over email. explain to them you're serious and youll make the drive if they make the deal happen.

Yea, I got X-plan on an $80k MSRP special order. I think it was 73.5k?

But I've been buying from them for 2 decades, yet even so I had to make it clear to the reluctant dealership owner that I wouldn't purchase the truck otherwise.
The salesman actually got a kick out of me convincing the owner when the sales manager hadn't been able to.

(new owner. I have been through a few over those 2 decades)

The dealer I bought off the lot in McKinney, Texas (north of Dallas) - Bob Tomes Ford - has a standard $2,000 discount off of the MSRP. Nothing like Granger though.

@WellStruck_ That appears to be a special order that someone backed out of. I would assume that they would be motivated to offload it.

Call them and try it out. I will say, generally, dealers aren't doing a lot of budging because they, generally, don't have to. Dealers budging in the before before times wasn't a big deal because the manufacturer would get it back to them. There was rebates/incentives/holdback, all kinds of neat little things that allowed them to "negotiate". Now, dealerships can actually loose money, so they're far less likely to budge. Before, was the ILLUSION of loosing money; now is the REALITY of loosing money.

I got my 22 Lariat PB 502a for $5500 under MSRP. Admitted, it was a 'demo special' with about 450 miles on it already, but I figured I'd take the risk for the discount. No issues with it so far, and after having it a week or so, I don't regret it either.

Elder Ford in Tampa still has many available with a discount, though I'm not sure if they do out-of-state sales.

Edit: Seems they do - https://www.elderfordoftampa.com/registering-out-of-town.html

I ordered my 2023 F150 XLT PB with few options at Granger last month. its MSRP was $67k and I got it at $59k. I was told 4-6 month wait but surprisingly its status was changed to in production since late last week. Hopefully I will get it sooner. I'm debating if I should drive it back home 1300miles or ship it as I was quoted for $1400 to NJ.
