Dash Readout Trip One Resets

On my 22 STX of late when truck hasn’t been started in couple weeks although trip one might have 160 miles and shows mpg @22.5 mpg it will reset to-0- miles and-0- mpg?
Any explanation of this
I keep all screens except Trip 1 blocked
In the past it might add some screens on its own as well
I’m approaching 10K miles total so it sits a bunch

This was happening to me until I did an update of the IPC.
If I remember right there are several threads on here with people talking about trip resetting, on its own, and in a weird way. I remember seeing 0.1 mpgs with 330 miles traveled.
maybe you just need an update. There might even be a TSB on it now that i think about it

That TSB is saying on the 4.2” screen
Do they measure diagonal or do you know

I did measure my screen and it was 4.2” or whatever vertical

You've got quite a bit of updates. Might be able to get the dealer to do some but it'll be hit or miss. updates fix issues which is why obscure things tend to get updated, not just the APIM

I asked dealer about helping with updating and told me they would charge usual hourly rate

That's not how it works. OTAs and pending updates are 2 wholly different things. OTAs give you what ford wants you to have, not necessarily what you need.
