I think that the sad fact is that since the F150 is the best selling vehicle in America & Ford cannot build them as fast as they can sell them, they have callously concluded that Customer Service doesn't matter. There is no way that anyone would be waiting for 15 months for an ordered vehicle if Ford cared about Customers at all! That is a truly sad way to do business! What say you Ford?

Right. It is like FORD knows damn well most people won't abandon the brand over something like this, so they'll just make us wait and we'll be happy to do so. Shit way of doing business.

Do unto others as you would have done unto you, because eventually it will be. The time may come that Ford wishes that they had not alienated so many loyal Customers!

Couldn't agree more. In fact, if it wasn't for the engines that RAM currently offers, I'd probably make the jump myself. I like the Ecoboost/mpg it offers for the power.

If I wouldn’t have already traded my old truck last July I’d be long gone by now. One thing is for certain though,… I will never order another truck from Ford and I will certainly consider other manufacturers in the future. This whole deal is inexcusable.

Same. Had I not stacked up a garage bay's amount of parts for my F-150, I'd already be driving a new Sierra. I'd take delivery and sell my F-150. Ford's business practices are an utter joke. Shame on them.

I get that there are shipping delays. I get that there is a supply chain shortage. What I find detestable is:

1. The scummy practice of building new trucks and delivering them while older orders are stuck in purgatory

2. The absolute dogshit communication. And this is multipart - it starts with the automated "To ensure your satisfaction" emails every two weeks (have they EVER considered how this bullshit email is received? Start with an apology, don't blow smoke up my ass that you're doing me a favor by delaying the shipment, give some PCOs or some credit after 2 - 3 missed deadlines). And then the piss poor communication continues with the experience you get when you contact marketing or customer support, where they can't do anything except send you in circles and tell you to wait, and then the coup de grace is this @Ford Motor Company account here that trolls us by offering help and when you actually give them your VIN and order number, a couple days of process and emailing to get hopes up, they end up doing jack all nothing, so effectively they're just wasting "active" customer time and effort in addition to the wasted "passive" time.

3. Why can't Ford take OWNERSHIP and tell us when the truck will be delivered. Have the damn guts to tell me its 3 months out, not death by a thousand "two more weeks" cuts. Let me plan my damn life. Help me decide if I need to buy a new set of tires for my current car, if I need to get a long term rental, whatever. Just show some damn respect for your customer.

What sort of customer service is this? Truly they don't give a shit about us.

My truck had an ETA of May 29 - July 5. That got pushed to the week of June 13 - June 19. That of course again got pushed to the week of June 23 - June 29. And today my sales rep texted me it has been pushed to an estimated June 25 - July 5.

The worst part is the truck is sitting at the railyard in a town 30 minutes away from me and has been there since June 12th.

Order date was Nov 6, 2021 ?

You have described my experience in a nutshell. It has been exactly the same as yours. The automatons in the Ford Customer Experience/Marketing Department steadfastly regurgitate the Ford party line about only knowing what it says in the system, while simultaneously telling the lie that the dealer is the best source of information on your ordered vehicle.

By the way, I finally literally went ahead & ordered tires today, for my old truck.

I feel the same way. How is the dealer or their rep going to know more than ford. This is the craziest thing that I have ever been thru as far as trying to get information on something. I sold my truck in april the week before it was supposed to show up and I am running out of loaner vehicles. I would go buy something else just to get around in if they would give me a honest time as to when I should expect my truck to arrive.

Come on Mitch! What a shame. Ford has taught us all that you can't really expect honesty from them. After all, how could the dealership know more than Ford, who built the vehicle, & is arranging the shipping, & who steadfastly refuses to divulge information about it?
