That looks like the cluster in my 23. What's the difference you saw?

FYI that is an EcoBoost cluster. 5.0L V8 trucks have a unique cluster with a 6,800 rpm redline that tops out at 8,000 rpm. See below. Any tuning/mods and the EcoBoost tach will be pegged to the max as the 5.0 is capable of a-lot more RPM than an EcoBoost.

XLT probably has more features in it so the cluster would have more stuff showing up.
Forscan can possibly enable items you are missing if you add the necessary hardware to support them.

Question on this… I went from the 4” XL cluster (8k rpm) to the 8” XLT cluster and it goes to 7k rpm. I didn’t notice a difference when I was buying or even looking. Will it present any issue? No power mods will be done to the truck so I doubt it will get revved that high very often anyways. So far almost everything works perfect as it should. Thanks!

I don’t think it will have any issues, did the same thing and have no current issues, I will add power mods but i dont think it will make a difference regardless

I used Forscan to program the mileage and features. You can only increase mileage so you need to make sure you buy a cluster with less miles than your current one has.

Thanks so much for replying i appreciate it , when (P) park isn’t illuminated in the cluster when in park but I assume it’s because i need to program the features ? Do I need any codes on forscan for it work I have codes for IPC for invalid configuration

How many plugs behind the cluster does your truck have. I have a 2022 XLT with a 4inch screen - my cluster only has one 16pin plug. The 8inch screens have a second green connector - my truck doesnt have this pigtail.

How did you guys do the switch?
