Once you are able to see your truck in order tracker you can see the modules. There will be a tab that says modules. Click that link and if you have any they will show up. Mine didn’t show up until a day or two after my blend date.
Is that under the "View Modules" tab? If so, it doesn't tell me how many there are. There are a lot listed... A LOT......

That’s it. I just copied the info and pasted it to a spreadsheet so I could get a line count.

Where do you find this information? Such as how many chips are there vs how many required?
Ordertrack.app then go to the modules link which takes you to the motorcraft website. Put your vin# in and the security key on the bottom.

Then you’ll see a long list of the modules and you can copy those into something like excel or google sheets and however many rows you have is your module count that is currently populated.

as far as how many you need, I don’t know. In my case I found a very similar optioned truck to give me an idea and compared them. Ended up being about a difference of 40 lines of modules between us. He had 1850ish and I have 1812. Both 502a powerboosts

Oh, OK. I had the right place, I just didn't know what to do with it.

For those of us on chip hold with PB batteries, should we be concerned about battery life/conditioning sitting in a lot for over two months?
I know when the hybrid battery gets low it goes into deep sleep, but how does that affect the battery life overall?

I wouldn’t worry to much about it. These batteries are made to sit and not have a memory on cycling. Not like nickel metal hydride. Also there is a 8 year warranty on them.

According to Ford my truck is scheduled to come off Chip hold and be delivered to my dealership by Friday. I’m going to assume that I wont be taking delivery and instead issued a new ETA.

Mine too. I would love to have it, but I also feel like it won't happen. I've already told my dealer that if it's not in by Halloween, I'll be going elsewhere for a vehicle.

I know the batteries are not nickel metal, but lithium is not very fond of being run down to zero either. I could be wrong about the batteries being lithium, but hearing reports about vehicles burning to the ground and not being able to be put out with water sound like lithium to me.

Pretty sure I have seen somewhere on the forums that the batteries like to sit between 40 and 90% charge cycles. I do not have any data on where the charge level is rolling off the production line, but sitting for 2 months to an unknown amount of time on a brand new vehicle....can't be good.

I have seen my share of swollen batteries in phones, laptops, and other electronics, they like to be charged, used, and recharged.

Don't get me wrong this will be my 2nd hybrid vehicle from Ford, but my wife's Escape doesn't sit for over two months at a time. She did have the infamous 12 volt battery issue with cells failing with in a month of owning.

Warranty or not, if I can't get my "produced" vehicle two months after production how can I expect a quick replacement of an in demand resource like the battery? I could be completely wrong in the above, but it will always be in the back of my mind once I finally get my truck.

Wow, I still cannot believe that I’m the only one who has taken delivery of the truck after being in this Chip hold group.
Hopefully Ford get it sorted soon - and the trucks start to fly out to everyone - hopefully won’t be long now
I will say my Truck was worth the 9 month wait, it’s awesome ?
Good luck ?

Where is your dealer? I guess it could be possible technically but unlikely until you get the Ford email and see what that says before you send yourself on another emotional rollercoaster. For what its worth, they are still on delivery schedule with mine.

I think you may have MOVEMENT at best by friday but not a delivery.

Hows that moonroof treating you? I use the tiny one in my dads maverick every time I drove it. I am about to enter the wind tunnel soon with that huge one and the back window open as well :ROFLMAO: . My body is ready, I can't wait.

My dealer is in Livonia MI which is about a 15-20 minute drive to the Dearborn truck plant. They’re close enough to each other that if my truck farted there would be a good chance my sales guy would be able to smell it.

I’m giving it another week, possibly two, for it to arrive. If it’s not here by the first week of October then it’s time to look somewhere else. This is ridiculous.

Don’t know yet, I have only done 60km (trip home from dealer) on it ?, I’m waiting for PPF before I drive it anywhere - going in today for that, but I’m out of town all week for work, so on Saturday I’ll start driving the shit out of it
