Chip hold My22 & My23

I am really happy for everyone getting their "in transit" status. Just frustrated with the ETA that means absolutely nothing. I have seemed to be in the bad rotation from day 1. Ordered last October, Blend date was 07/13, got put on chip hold late July, got the "built-awaiting shipment" on 08/24, now I was told ETA was 09/22-09/25 which doesn't seem possible now. Some of you others with ETA's in October getting "In transit" status, they will most likely just change my ETA as my truck just sits in the back of the line. Ford is really testing me on this one...

Same here buddy. Blend date of 7/16 and been "In Production " since. Called multiple times with different ETA's and nobody knows anything but its on chip hold. Very frustrating.

Here is my Timeline if it helps: -
Ordered Jan 2022
Blend Date 7/12/2022
in Production 7/12/2022
Truck officially produced (no chip Hold) 8/3/2022 (may of been before but I was on vacation so didn’t check)
Officially On Chip hold 8/9/2022
Activation denied on Ford Pass 8/9/2022 (I guess that was them moving the truck from the factory to Chip purgatory).
Dealer confirmed that I’m No longer on Chip hold 8/30/2022
Officially Built 8/30/2022
2nd Activation denied on Ford Pass 8/31/2022 (I guess that was them moving the truck from Chip purgatory to shipping).
Shipped 9/1/2022

ETA’s
Original one was 8/21/2022, that came and went, new one was 9/5/2022, never got to that one, on 9/1/2022, when I went to shipping and the ETA changed and showed up on the Ford Tracker website stating the below: -
Your 2022 F-150 F-150 LARIAT is
estimated to be delivered to Cam Clark
Ford Sales Ltd. between 09/15/2022 &
09/21/2022

I’ll find out on Saturday when I pop them off and replace them with the black mirror caps I have waiting in my garage.

If your timeline is correct, there is just enough time for me to do something extremely stupid but really fun. Since I’m WAY over my miles on my current lease, thanks to uncle Henry, i have just enough time to go and lease myself a scat pack and join the ranks of the fellow race car drivers on ford & Telegraph for the next month or two. Now here is where things get interesting. I’m in detroit. If anyone knows anything about Detroit, the likelihood of someone borrowing it without my permission is extremely high. So…If my beer mathematics are correct, i have just enough to time to enjoy a short lived slideways life before discovering someone borrowed my race machine without my permission. Bummer, right? How can i burn rubber without my drag car? Talk about sad face!! At this point, it should be around the time Ford decides to dig my truck out of the shit pile and move my turd to the dealership for extreme profit. Now there might be flaws in my theory, i still have my socks on so i can’t count really high, despite that, my inaccurate math seems correct and would impress the likes of newton & Albert Einstein who have minds that us common folk can’t understand. I’d imagine after solving this drunken puzzle celebrate this victory with a bagel and coffee at one of Einstein’s famous restaurants.

"our delivery is currently sorting through close to 200 orders on the lot getting prepped for delivery in the order of what we've received. Once your order is checked in, you will receive an email from us to start the paperwork process."

"we're waiting to receive more temp tags for our out of state customers, I will keep you posted".

That article confirmed it’s not a chip shortage, they just messed up their supply chain and try to blame Covid. It’s pathetic.
